Just loaded up all three new routes on Xbox Series X and got awful black flickering textures. Is there a setting I’m missing?
On PS5 when the splash appears and loads the route say class 150 from Paignton- Exeter, I get a loud audio click, then all audio totally cuts out completely until I quit the game, tried it on the voyager and it does exactly the same!.
Not sure where to put this. I have reported it on the Troubleshooting forum (twice as it happens, not sure how that happened) but I gleaned from the above that I should maybe report it here so here is a copy of what I wrote as it is essential that this is addressed urgently. People overuse the term unplayable but this literally is. I’ve just loaded TSW6 (Deluxe Edition) up for the first time, having pre-installed it. Every service I load, whether on foot or as a driver, on all three routes, the graphics flash on and off. This is literally unplayable. The only thing I have done prior to loading a service is to turn off train faults and the other random events.
i have uninstalled TSW6 dtarter pack, and reinstalled it. Still getting stuck at anout 10% of loading screen. Also, the Cardiff and Zwolle routes is only showing a size of 10.1MB. Surely that is wrong? This is SUPER disappointing right now. ! And frustrating!!)
We are aware of some issues with Xbox with a older build, we are working out what is wrong and we will keep you updated when we have news, sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Thank you for posting. I hope it can be fixed soon, as I paid for the Special edition to get early access.
im on the ps 5 delux edition. i have no gameplay sounds, i.e no train sounds. no passenger announcements. no nothing. the only sounds i have is the menu music
Jeez this doesn't sound good at all! Never understood how wrong builds get shipped so frequently lol Hopefully they can get a day-one patch out there. Will Steam get the right build? Hopefully they have time to update it before it goes live. Really a shame after all the positivity leading up to launch.
I'm on PS5 and tried this route. I heard the loud click but no problems with the audio. I'm hearing that click on every route I play on the loading screens. No gameplay problems so far...Graphics are nice, more color, and I like the sunlight reflections off the trains. Can't' download previous content but allowed some layering already.
Just played the game myself for first time on ps5 splash screens have sound then makes a pop then no in game sounds until you quit game completely, hope this gets fixed quickly
After uninstalling the 10.1 MB routes of Cardiff and Zwolle, the game actually starts and loads. However, it is completely unplayable with the flickering. I hope the new patch they told us are on the way, arrives soon. How do I get the correct file size versions of Cardiff and Zwolle?
Cardiff and Zwolle were part of the special edition pack, and was advertised to be available for early access.
Fair play to DTG. The Xbox problems have been resolved. I'm impressed that the iconic Sainsbury's at Marsh Mills, Plymouth is present. Also that you can go in to the waiting room on Platform 5 at Plymouth station, a place I have sat many times. Shame you can't go into the toilet though
i' ve downloaded the deluxe edition for PS 5, tested 2 routes Zwolle Groningen and the ICE train , everything works fine, ( I have disabeld all new feature and play in HD since my PS5 is quit a old model), transfert of my player status ,went very smooth, the only downpoint is sometime a clicking sound when the game start
Just went to the steam pc and the store page and it have a mixed review. I believe this is due to player having problem and glitches, also on one of the stream or video i see, the passenger are sitting on the wrong seat basically one of the passenger show two people sitting on the same seat. This is really upsetting to see that the game is only 4 day away from the official released date and its already have trouble. Please look into fixing all the bugs and glitches before the actual released date. So far TSW 6 is a let down/
I am on Steam with my PC. I downloaded all my DLC yesterday and today. Now I wanted to start TSW 6 and then import my profile, but I get an error message saying that there is not enough storage space. I have plenty of storage space available. How can I import my profile into TSW 6 without getting this error message?
In the past, similar errors have been caused by Microsoft's 'Defender' security software blocking access to what it considers areas of Windows files. There should be a message in your 'Notifications' area you can click on and give write permission to TSW6, and the problem should then be resolved. Good luck!
