Tsw 6 No Trophies / Achievements For Dlc?

Probably too much work for too little benefit.

 

well I have already got the platinum trophy for TSW6 for PS5 its much easier when you import a save with all the mileage

 

Tier 2 gives you the scenery tile

 

Maybe they could use something like Crowdin or another localization tool that allows community contributions. That’s how localization works for SCS games, for example—the community is highly dedicated and engaged in helping translate the game.

I even reached out to them to offer my help in translating the game into Portuguese, which is my native language and not yet supported, but they told me they don’t currently plan to add it.

 

sounds like a nonsense excuse to me as would not the whole game need localisation?

remember when a trophy on TSW3 was in French I believe the do all scenarios on RRO route trophy ?

 

I'm pretty sure they already know how to localise "complete 5 scenarios", "drive 100 miles", "complete 20 services", it's such a ridiculous excuse.

 

Even the base achievements/trophies are copy and paste again. Very lazy.

 

Easiest platinum ever. Took me less than an hour (using the TSW5 import). No challenge at all. Such a disappointment.

that is low
at least it is an easy 100%

 

I installed TSW6 recently and was very disappointed to see the lack of trophies. I mean, not even for the three core routes… seriously? The approach they did with TSW5 (trophies only for new DLCs, not for earlier compatible content) seemed alright to me and added a little incentive to buy DLCs soon after release to get a chance to tackle the trophies.

This won’t prevent me from buying any new DLCs, but I loved going for 100% on some of the routes I really enjoy. Also… at the very least, they could’ve changed up the base game trophies after all these years.

 

yes it was annoying they cut it back. I did wonder with all the 3rd party content they decided to axe achievements in the event they were implemented wrong. But lets be honest it was always very standard stuff complete X scenarios, tutorials, services, collectables. If they just standardised it they could have continued. I just hope they do something better for TSW7. Just trophies / achievements for new content was fine by me. I think they were scared of all the broken achievements / trophies over the years and having a basic list solves that

 

I thought no trophy support would affect my experience going forward, but it hasn’t. I don’t play TSW for trophies, I have other games for that. Resident Evil: Requiem i’m looking at you
TSW is my chill out game. Another chill out game for me is Rock Band 4, but now I moved on to PC (YARG) as you can add unlimited amount of songs. Rock Band 4 is capped at 2952 songs, with YARG I have over 6000 songs. BTW those are rhythm games I’m taking about.
