This thread will stay locked until Early Access is available. Hello everyone, This is the dedicated master feedback thread for the ALP-45DP Loco AddOn. Please keep all discussions only related to feedback and provide the game platform you are using in any comments for feedback. Thank you! Visit our support page for informative articles and FAQs. Our dedicated technical support team is also available to assist you there. When providing feedback, please always add the following details if possible: Platform (i.e.: PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One) Service/Scenario played when the issue occurred. Repeatability. How often does this issue occur? Images/Videos of the issue occurring. As always, thank you for your feedback. All the best, Jan
So I’m not the only one who noticed the coupler gap bug. But my main issue is that the 45’s HEP cables are not right. There should be two cables on each side as with every other piece of HEP equipped US passenger car/loco. Except this has been an issue since NYT’s multilevels and ALP46. Surely it can’t be that difficult to add the second HEP cable to each side? (Pic is of an ALP45 coupled to a Boston - Providence CTC3 coach.)
please, bring the sounds and the horn sound from the preview stream back I think it's incredibly disrespectful to keep using these outdated TSC sounds when this isn't TSC, it's TSW (I only think it's acceptable in cases where there's no other option, like the Arrow III) clearly, the ALP-45DP sounds were one thing in the preview stream and are different today (both for the horn/bell (which was a little low compared to the ALP-46) and for electric/diesel engine sounds) and different in a bad way I also found the "improved" suspension to be very weak, almost imperceptible when passing through junctions
The only sounds that were changed from the stream on the ALP45DP were the external and internal horn of which came from an actual ALP45DP and were sourced from a well known beta tester who helped us out with a lot of the sounds for Morristown. We changed them after the feedback from the stream and worked hard with the beta team to ensure we got better horn sounds from an ALP45DP rather than use the ALP46 horn and get that in for release as we felt this was important feedback we wanted to address. Other than that no other sounds have changed from the stream.
Steam While standing up during a layover at the station, I ended up breaking through the locomotive's ceiling. The moment I realized over an hour of driving was ruined, I miraculously managed to get back into the cab. I tried various things like stacking or crouching, but I still don't know why I was able to get back in. For a while, I'm too scared to stand up. https://www.youtube.com/live/SwqfxyRoyt8?si=eymEGPjTpUidpqNy&t=14264
My first thoughts: - I think it was a good choice of DLC, I like having bi-mode locos - I like the details such as the sounds and the TMS screens Suggestions: - It would be nice if you could start and stop the diesel engines via the TMS screen, considering the menus are already made - It would be nice to get another US train with a machine room at some point, like the ACS-64 Bugs (I'm on PC Steam): - When the ALP-45DP is coupled, there is a gap between the couplers - The ALP-45DP seems to have infinite fuel, even if you set the fuel level to 0 in the editor the engine continues to run - If the battery is turned off, the TMS screen remains on
When the pantograph drops (train fault) the voltage changes from 25kv to 12kv then it won’t let we raise then pan again?
Another bug I found is that it won't let you set a path in free roam on routes with the wrong type of electrification or unelectrified routes, even when diesel mode is activated
