Tried 3 times, 3 different locos on the Riveria Line, just as the route is loading, I get a loud pop and the audio cuts out just before the route loads, I loose all sound, and I have to restart my PS5.
Same thing here. Happens on every route I load. Completely cuts out my PS5 audio but for some reason I have sound if I plug headphones in, just nothing coming out of the TV. Also there's a ton of very loud popping
I have the same problem, but when i replay my stream on twitch i can't hear the glitches in the sound. When playing it's randomly and very annoying.

Those are the audio glitches I’m getting, in the loading screens and during driving any of the routes. It is basically making the game unplayable. Audio spikes like that can damage equipment and more importantly people’s hearing. This is a very serious issue.
I’m having the same problem I was on 5G71 Laira Depot to Plymouth Part 2 and after a minute lost all sound apart from the DSD & AWS coming through my controller.
So I've got the game all installed now on PS5. I did have the audio pop once, but no other issues. Although I've only done a training center run in the voyager and the route introduction so far as I'm probably going to start playing a bit more in the coming days so will update if I encounter similar issues.
I'm also having the same issue. I found that if I turn off and on my '3d audio for tv speakers' option, that works for a while then it cuts out again. Then it is the same process again.

Submitted a support ticket for it as well. Did it when loading a scenario, and also randomly during gameplay. With headphones on it is deafening. I now understand the real reason they only previewed the PC version. How did this not get picked up with beta testers?
Iam on PS5 also the same audio problem,starts up with sound on splash screens then when you begin a service it makes a pop then no sound whatsoever,you then need to restart your ps5 to regain sound
Same for me. A bit annoying but not hugely problematic. Matt was streaming yesterday, they're aware of it and the team is looking into it.
To confirm, these issues are known, and we have a candidate fix with our QA team for testing. Should all go well, we should have more news later today.
Just been an update on the DTG discord channel. Looks like it will be next week now . Still working on the issue along with some other things being fixed.
That’s bad news. I’d recommend anyone experiencing these huge audio spikes not to use TSW6 until it is fixed as it could damage your equipment. It could damage your hearing as well if it was to play loudly through headphones. This should never have happened and it’s clear how much the PS5 builds were tested. Hardly at all, if at all. If that’s not the case and DTG knew that this was an issue prior to release then shame on them for releasing it but I suspect they were as surprised as we were as they never test the PS5 release build. They are always taken by surprise by issues on the PS consoles as they only have dev kits and no beta programme for real world testing. Also, it’s nice of them to let players on Discord know about this and leave forum members in the dark. I guess they are showing us the days are numbered for the forum by hardly bothering to be present here. Nice work DTG.
The audio issue should of been a priority and fixed today. We pay for early access and can't play TSW6. It's the weekend so going to be next week before there's a fix when the main release date is Tuesday. Not good.
