As a player that lives in Exmouth, I was wondering if Dovetail have any plans in the near future to expand the Riviera Line to Exmouth ? Especially with the steep gradient going up to Exeter Central Station. Would be great to start a journey from Exmouth to Exeter St Davids, change ends and go all the way to Paignton.

If it's not on the roadmap, no plans

Given the route has literally just released for Early Access, highly doubt it.

I doubt it too and to make it worth charging again for the route would need to be more than Exmouth.

Personally, now the Cucumber is in the game I would much rather the next Western Route project is something where we can run them on 25kv AC at 125 MPH.

The next GWR routes I’d like to see would either be Reading to Cardiff Central (95 miles) or Reading to Portsmouth harbour (45 miles).
I think Reading needs to be the next logical start point since we already have the Paddington section to it.

Reading to Bristol would give you the power changeover at Chippenham and a substantial section of 125MPH running. Reading to Portsmouth? That’s mostly Southern if going via either Basingstoke or Guildford. Only GWR presence would be the Turbos from Reading to Basingstoke or Guildford.

Reading to Bristol via Parkway would give you the change over even further along.

I would prefer to see Bristol to Swansea as per TSC. Then the Marches Line as per TSC but to Cardiff not Newport.

That would be pretty good, with a mix of GWR, Cross Country and TfW plus the freight.

No train route from Reading to Portsmouth Harbour.

Could do Reading to Southampton Central via Basingstoke and Winchester and Southampton Central to Portsmouth Harbour GWR and SWR and maybe Southern.
