As seen on the preview stream there is a condition that will cause the timetable on Dresden - Leipzig to lockup at Dresden HBF. This is caused by a 101 service getting stuck at the platform and not moving. This is not a dispatcher issue as shown in the stream. It happens with the Eurocity services that switch locos from the 193 to the 101 at Dresden HBF. After the default 101 couples to the formation the 2 cab which becomes the leading cab completely locks up. The 1 cab which is now the rear cab on the formation remains functional but as the 2 cab is locked up (reversed and throttle completely stuck) the service cannot setup and open its doors and gets stuck. A genuine solution to this is to download the mod on TSC which replaces all the default 101 stock with the expert version through the RVD replacement. This works out of the box in TSW6 and will replace all the 101s on Leipzig with the expert version. The expert 101 does not have any issues with the coupling process and works flawlessly across the timetable. Using this mod with the expert 101 means that the timetable will not lockup from this bug at all and everything flows as it should. It also allows the use of the expert 101 which I assume most people who own the expert version would prefer anyways.

A mod will be no use to players on console, or those of us who prefer to keep a vanilla install. DTG need to fix the issue regardless.

They need to fix it. But in the mean time, it is good to know the cause and have a workaround. Disabling the appropriate layers, or uninstalling the non-expert BR101 should also work in avoiding the issue.
something seems very wonky with the BR101 in this timetable in general, LBZ doesn't seem to work properly (it constantly thinks there is an imminent 0 limit - even when the track is totally clear). Expert version works fine
Slightly concerning that an issue that ruined a livestream hasn't been fixed before release, a couple of weeks later. I don't want to uninstall the regular 101, as that will take a train that I very much enjoy driving and seeing on other routes. I don't want to disable the 101 layer, as that's an important part of the timetable. And I can't download mods because I use a console. All very troubling.
they should make it part of base functionality to overwrite the base version with the expert version, crazy it needs a mod to do this!
