Why do the break automatically apply while I am in full throttle using the 294. Hmm I even went and did tutorial on this. Seem well. But if anyone have any idea pls post as a reply thank you. This 294 will be used a lot by me.
It's the roll prevention. When coming to a stop with the locomotive it will cause a traction lock within 2.5 seconds and the roll prevention (1.3 bar locomotive brake) within 10 seconds. To release both you need to have the power brake lever in Release Brake / Decrease Power (or lower) and press the "Traction Lock / Emergency Release" switch. Once the traction lock and roll prevention has been released, they will re-apply in 10 seconds unless you move the PBC to "Hold Power" or higher (which changes the delay to 45 seconds) or get moving.
Said after the stream this was going to catch people out and seems I was right. Already seen a couple of other posts from people with similar issues. Maybe needs to be a feature that can be toggled on or off.
I'm not sure it is. Does the brake come on when you're moving and under power? Or is it while you're stopped, and you can not start moving?
It does it while I am moving. I’m using the long distance lever as well. It does power up. But at a certain speed then the break apply. I release the power when it hit to 80km. Or else the break will apply on it own.
Unless you are overspeeding and the overspeed protection triggers I have not experienced this myself (and I programmed the physics and simulation on the loco so I tested it quite a bit ). Can you make a video reproducing this?
Let me see what I can do. I’m sorry it will be kinda difficult to reproduce this. But I can assure you that this is happening. I’m surprised that this not happening to you.
Can you elaborate on how to stop the break from releasing. Can you post your image on that. I find it kinda strange that your doesn’t lock up on you at high speed.oh yeah how can I disable that over speed protection that you mentioned.
I'm not sure what you mean "stop the brake from releasing". Regarding the penalty brake: you can't. It is a safety feature to protect the transmission.
Well ok it fine but it automatically slow me down. The light come on to. When it come off I can speed back up. So it ok.
