Another steam sale, brilliant. Before all the steam players, who don’t understand how privileged they, are come at me saying that it’s not in Dovetail’s control when Xbox have sales, I don’t even care anymore. It seems very strange to give one platform so many sales, knowing full well the rest miss out. How about reducing the cost of dlc by a couple of quid on consoles, given that most dlc go on sale within 6 months of them anyway. I mean, Frankfurt S Bahn only came out in May and it’s already half price. Good luck getting a deal close to that on Xbox, and even PlayStation for that matter. I’m not demanding an equal amount of sales, but it’s ludicrous that steam get about 5 massive sales a year, when Xbox will have the base game on sale once every few months. Something really ought to change
It’s so annoying. I’ve been wanting mittenwaldbahn since it came out but I’m not paying £33, and I suspect the day the sun rises twice will happen before it goes on sale
Mittenwaldbahn was actually one of the very few routes I bought at full price and I still don’t regret it. anyways I’m waiting for scotrail express to go on sale because without a sale it’s quite bad for value
As a privileged class (PC owners), I will pay only ~$40 for TSW6 Special Edition in my country. Thanks to Uncle Gabe for regional prices and regular sales.I spent almost $700 on upgrading my graphics card from a RX6700XT to a RX9070 and my PC case. You want to pay 3 cents for a device and get games for 5 cents. That doesn't work.
You clearly haven’t read my message at all have you? If you had, which you should’ve before making such a lazy judgement, I said that I’m aware it’s Microsoft and not dovetail. I also said that I’m not demanding parity, but something should be done
Well, we on XBox have to wait until Black Friday or Christmas Sale then. Oh wait… there was no Sale on those occasions either last year. Last year there was an addon sale at the end of November though. Maybe only two month to go, keeping fingers crossed.
No need to be toxic dude. It's literally a discussion about steam sales and you're the one talking about other platforms.
Yep, I’ve gone overboard there to be fair. But my point still stands that the proportion of steam sales to console sales is ridiculous
To be honest, this should probably have gone in Announcements and not here. Discussion about sales always leads to cross-platform sniping.
