I'm sure we are all fed up of the 66 by now. Let's spice it up a little! Having the shed in pretty much all UK routes just makes gameplay boring, yes it's a well known freight train across the UK. But let's try something different. As we have the DRS license, we could make a 68. Not only would that benefit freight but passenger services with Chiltern and TPE (if we get the licenses). How about a class 60? I would love to see a colas rail or GBRf 60. (If they give us the license for it). I'm personally wanting a class 56. Beautiful locos used for freight and rail tours sometimes. It's TSW6 now, come on. Let's spice it up DTG! Any other freight trains you want to suggest? Please do suggest them id love to here!
Oh absolutely I posted about it a bit back if you want to look at video green signals visited new loco on YouTube
Recentely suggested by me (Freightliner based, given latest license updates). In addition to 56, 60, 68, 70 etc., why not a 86/6, 88, 90 or 92? Would be a dream... Grids could also replace Sheds on RHTT services (it's extensively used by Colas on those ones!).
Class 56 and/or 58 for Tees Valley Line maybe. Class 60, 70, and Stadler Dual-mode units needed. I'd love to see a Class 69. The 69s are rebuilt Class 56s.
For modern(ish) a 56 and 60 definitely. However it seems no one is willing to step up to the plate in regard to this. DTG as always focused on modern stuff. Skyhook seem to have stepped back from much of anything to do with TSW to focus on other genres (Lawn Mowing Sim, really??), Just Trains are cosied up with their AC electrics and Pacers. ATS don't seem capable of doing TSW trains and if they could more likely to be something ultra modern. It seems the vision and developer talent that brought us NTP. TVL and the Class 20, 31, 33, 40 and 52 packs have long since left the scene.
There's at least 4-5 threads on this and related (like the 88, etc) They're more in depth and already discussing it.
