Is anyone playing 2 or maybe more versions of TSW rather than move all there earlier content to a newer version? I've got TSW 2020 and now TSW 6 as stand alone games. I've managed to port over dlc's from the earlier edition to the new one. I don't know whether to go down the product key request route to move over non dlc routes to TSW 6 or just play that particular content on TSW 2020. I have plenty of memory space to run both games at present. Any advice folks? (Playing on console).
i got all the versions i only play latest version mainly and occasionally TSW 2020 to try getting the last few achievements already 100% TSW 6 would not have minded having it somewhat more achievements but i guess this will be it still playing it of course
Yep, guilty as charged. I have all six games from TSW2020 to TSW6 on an XBOX SDD card. I still revisit earlier versions, to mop up XBOX achievements, continue to tick off timetabled services, or just listen to the music from the older games, some of which I really like!
I have tsw6 installed with all my content (which will soon include caltrain dlcs) and tsw 2020 installed because of the NEC: New York, SW1000R and GP40-2 dlcs which were never ported to later versions of tsw
Get the product keys and have all the older content in the new game. That old content could add extra trains to the newer content so you could get more trains in your new routes. GWE adds trains to Riviera Line for instance. You can still play the older content in the older game but having it in the new game as well has its benefits.
Hi, I would also recommend getting your older content on TSW6 as previous TSW versions are no longer receiving support, so that's something to take into consideration.
