What service was that? I've had a similar issue plus other annoyances too, see context below. Service RB31 (18304) Dresden Hbf to Coswig 0533 can't be completed due to service failure always after Friedrichstadt. The first time, service failure occurred due to 'Vehicle Derailed'. So, I restarted the service, then again around Friedrichstadt service failure again, this time due to 'passed signal at danger' even though it was green signals ahead. I restarted the service one more time, and the same signal issue happened again. Very frustrating!
My other feedback from this route having played for the first time today is as followed: - Super frustrated but not surprised that the blurry texture issue is very prominent with this route; it completely ruins the experience of TSW on console right now (like it did with TSW 5). When is this ever going to be sorted? It can't continue like this when new content is always blurred. I must say, however, it does run quite smooth on Series X, so that's one positive I guess: - Passengers still stay on the train after the end of the service, meaning they just sit in darkness in the sidings. I thought the passenger system was updated to stop that from happening in TSW 6? - Also PIS problems with the Talent 2, as list of stations not fully displayed properly:
On PS5 Pro, of course, under the load of all layers, blurring also occurs, on the Dresden - Leipzig route with Dostos I save the game around Cosswig and then somewhere around Wurzen, then I always reload and continue ..... before saving I set the reverser to the off position, after reloading I put it in the forward position and drive ...... it helps that it doesn't destroy the pzb settings etc ...... it can be done while driving, it doesn't always have to stop ...... but I mostly do it while staying at the station ...... if it had a magic button to empty the memory bin during the game, it would probably be more useful ......
cant remember the exact service, but upon restarting, I was able to complete it without issue, sometimes going even harder with throttle, then for good measure, I tried like 4 other services to Coswig just to see if there was any issue with tracks near Friedrichstadt, but I was able to complete those without issues as well (also did one RE50 run with 442 without issue) so I assume it was either physics/suspension bug or sth similar, cos I wasnt able to replicate it afterwards... will see... if it happens more with other ppl, I guess they will check it... I am also looking out if anything happens and if it does I will post it here
There are problems with the Hl signals everywhere along the line between Leipzig and Riesa. The lamp inserts are either completely distorted, missing, or flickering.
Maybe slightly off topic, but I thought I had a go at the Leipziger scenario on RT. Maybe they fixed it, and gave this some attention with the layering on Leizpig-Dresden in mind... Anyway, I finally managed to complete it. No derailment issues or trouble with the traction. Finally. Edit: playing on PS5
PS5 Pro Today's news from Dresden Hbf: Services with Diesel Cab Car and BR 218: The train could not start, only after a while I found out that the BR 218 is set to Remote ZWS, it should be KWS, and only then could the train be controlled from the Cab Car
tl:dr if already mentioned, but working overhead line neutral sections do not appear to have been implemented between Riesa and Dresden. Purely cosmetic. I thought these were standard on all German/Austrian routes going forward?
I'll get the other issues logged - but with the blurred textures; is this happening with layers switched off?
So im on xbox x and still got terrible flickering on the TV screen. Also anyone else noticed that the lzb is a bit on slow side at activating once in the lzb zone.
Anyone had trouble with the rapid transit version of the 442 not responding to buttons being pressed for safty systems.
PS5 Pro I don't know if this is important information, but the sound cracking stopped for me, both when loading and during the game ...... I never had any 3D sound active, so I didn't even turn it off to eliminate this problem with this step ... interesting, but definitely pleasant
PS5 Pro On trains of the RB31 line consisting of Dostos, the inscription on the signs instead of the destination station only says Nicht Einsteigen .......
Has anyone come across Eanos type freight wagons? They have a separate layer, but even though I have already driven over 1200 km on the map, I haven't seen one yet... especially
You can really see the different between the new parts of the route and the re-used one, it looks like there has been zero effort to bring the Dresden-Riesa section up to standard. The OHLE could have at least been updated to TSW6 standards to match the rest of the route. I’m getting good frame rates on this, even at Leipzig but getting a massive drop at Friedrichstad. It’s a shame none of the stock included was updated to TSW6 standards. The Dostos are as soulless as ever, 442 is outdated. Why when Dovetail have shown they can make amazing trains are they happy to put mediocre trains in new versions of the games? The ICE-T is still not displaying PZB icons properly (same as the ICE1 & 3), there is no way to know if you’re restricted to 85 or 45 etc.
route on the whole is fantastic. Memory optimization is sub par as kind of expected(sorry) this is with layers off so with layers hmm, worse I guess. You guys honestly need to up your game with optimization. Way too much stuttering. were on what year 5 or 6 now?? Is there no way of introducing slight graphical compromises as in pc version of will don't not allow this? Just seems like there's quite a bit that could be done. Anyway still a beautiful route
I have RP Vectron installed, of course, I don't have Maintahlbahn installed yet, but I miss the connection with Eanos there ..... And you have Eanos in operation, do I understand correctly?
So doing the 363 chapter last in the chapter constant pzb braking me cant get above 25mph should it be like that. All the signals display green but they are red with 2 white lights
Generally enjoying the route doing Dresden to Leipzig runs on the talent 2 . A pity the new talent 2 is less functional in the cab than the old one ( Dresden-Reisa) . I mean you cannot choose the PIS destination on the cab screen , also instrument gauge dimmer does not work , as well as the invisible barrier preventing player exit from the passenger doors. You also cannot change the contrast/ brightness of the in cab screens which you could on the old one. . Also noticed when starting on foot in Leipzig and taking over a talent 2 service the AI seems to leave the cab ( the one facing the buffers ) not shut down ( master key on) , so the only way to get the train going is to shut down that rear cab first ( master key off) , otherwise the train will not move at all . But otherwise it’s a good fun route!
PS5 Friedrichstadt, there is a problem with the track texture at signal 365V, there is some LOD that is white and disappears upon arrival
No I haven't. Just speculating that this could be what's necessary as Eanos is included with Maintalbahn.
The BR101 simply doesn't appear as a playable locomotive in the menu. It shows up as an AI train set, and if I'm on foot, I can get in and drive it. But it's frustrating and incomprehensible why it isn't selectable in the menu.The layer is set enabled
Did the “Diceversion” scenario which takes you over the new stretch behind Dresden Neustadt. Got to say, it’s actually quite a pleasant little stretch and an interesting variation on the direct route. Will need to check what, if any, other services go that way in Journey/Timetable mode.
Is experienced blurriness while driving the BR 442 (Leipzig-Dresden version). Only in can and the markings on the train itself, not on surroundings (stations signs etc). No blurriness seen while driving the ICE-T. Edit: playing on PS5
If you use both the Railpool vectron and the BR 101, you get one full line IC run with it. Plus some nice loco swap services at Dresden (where the 101 is exchanged for the Vectron for services towards the Czech Republic).
-Br 146 doesn’t display the “V-Überwachung” message after acknowledging PZB -Various places across the original route have missing ballast textures & foliage (2 examples)
Just got this right at the last minute after a 100min job using the vectron. So not happy now on xbox x please don't let this be another frankfurt/fulda fiasco. This game really needs an auto save like every 5 miles so when crappppp come this happens its not to painful. And that was 10 layers disabled.
Why is there no arrival time at Leipzig HBF for ICE services? It makes everything too easy and kills the spirit of driving.
There is no arrival time because you have to couple to the second 7-car ICE waiting on the track before opening your doors. I guess if you are slow with getting your train ready to couple you'd get a big point deduction. Maybe I'm wrong tho
Yeah, it might have been better if they had you open your doors first, and then couple. So there could be an expected arrival time.
The services where you don't have to couple, do have an arrival time at Leipzig. Unfortunately, on yesterday's run I was almost 10 minutes late as I got held up by a freight train, which wasn't looped onto a siding somewhere by the dispatcher....
Service RE50 (16520)the 1412 from Dresden to Leipzig on talent 2 got all the way to just before Wurzen where there was a red light which didn’t clear . Looked on the map trains were stuck up ahead of me . Tried deleting what I thought was the problematic train and was able to continue but then followed multiple yellows and some reds. But then suddenly got a message saying signal passed at danger when I hadn’t passed a red signal and the session was over just before reaching Borsdorf outside Leipzig which was a shame! Some issue with the timetable or a train . Playing on PC /steam . Edit : also noticed after deleting the train , some signal aspects that followed showed nothing /were blank , is this a bug or is blank a proceed aspect ?
