    Introduction:
The class 221 was originally built after the 220s for Virgin CrossCountry to allow loco-hauled stock to be replaced. When the CrossCountry franchise was taken over by Arriva in 2007, 20 of their 5-car 221s were transferred to Virgin West Coast, where they operated services to Chester, Holyhead, Birmingham New Street and the slower Euston to Scotland service. This continued with Avanti West Coast, until they were replaced by class 805s in 2024.

-Unlike the class 220, the Avanti 221s were formed of 5 coaches, and are able to tilt which allowed them to run at up to 125mph on the West Coast Main Line
-While similar to the CrossCountry 220, the gameplay would be quite different as they ran on different routes and services
-It would also reduce the workload if DTG or a third party developer ever decide to create a North Wales Coastal route

    Gameplay:
The Avanti 221 would provide services on the Birmingham to Crewe and WCML South routes.

For Birmingham Crewe, a separate timetable could be provided that adds in the North Wales services and replaces some 390 services with 221s where appropriate

For WCML South, the 805 timetable could be copied and 805s could be replaced with 221s, as well as the necessary changes from the 2025 timetable to the 2024 timetable.

    Birmingham to Crewe:
1tph London Euston to Blackpool North or Glasgow Central or Edinburgh (Playable between Birmingham New Street and Crewe) (Operated alongside the 390)
Calling at Sandwell & Dudley, Wolverhampton, Stafford and Crewe

1tph London Euston to Chester/Wrexham General/Holyhead (Playable between Stafford and Crewe)
    Calling at Crewe Only

    WCML South:
Some services would skip Milton Keynes Central, however I suggest a fictional stop should be added to these services to make them playable.

All services run direct to Milton Keynes unless stated otherwise.

    1TPH Euston to Chester/Wrexham General/Holyhead

2TPH Euston to Birmingham New Street/Wolverhampton (operated alongside 390s)
Some services call at Watford Junction

    1TPH Euston to Blackpool North/Glasgow Central/Edinburgh
Some services call at Watford Junction

Thank you for reading the suggestion

Avanti's remaining 221s went to Cross Country, who don't use the tilt. I don't think Grand Central use it either

Bring them on and if we get Trent Valley there's EPS signs that require them to tilt

I don't understand you... if their tilting system is disabled, they're not allowed to run at EPS speed anymore (and the HUD should reflect that...).

When Avanti had class 221s (they don't anymore), their tilt function was enabled which allowed them to run at enhanced speeds.

The Avanti Voyager's tilt system was turned off after they were transferred to Crosscountry.

So, following up on driverwoods#1787 message... does that mean "forget about them running on Trent Valley at enhanced speeds" (except in free roam) ?

it would be on the modern west coast mainline routes, Euston to Milton Keynes, Birmingham to Crewe and Trent Valley

My suggestion was for the when they were with Avanti, so when they had their tilt system enabled so they would be able to run at enhanced speeds
