What layers do I need for the ultrasonic test train for the route. Or if anyone could provide a full list of dlc needed for every layer that would be helpful Thanks
You will need: West Cornwall Local WCML Preston - Carlisle BR Class 86/2 This will give you the MK2F coaches I taken a look at the layers needed for this train and that’s what is needed, please let me know how you get on.
Thanks - that's helpful. It's frustrating that the BR Class 86/2 & Mk2F Coaches add-on is needed - £19.99 for this DLC is daylight robbery.
True true altogether it’s £77.97 if you were gonna buy all three DLC’s without sales, but there is a steam sale on right now but only West Cornwall Local and WCML Shap is on sale out of them layers so now is the best time to grab those.
8 liverys, multiple different fronts some have different headlights set of couches in both br blue and intercity so no this is not daylight robbery
I’ve got to say JT always cook with there DLC’s always made with quality in mind, can not wait for the Arriva Trains Wales 142 and nice to see they have changed the class 143 and the 150 liveries to match.
You’re easily pleased! No new track to run on despite a price close to some of the route add-ons, and no new substantively different locos or rolling stock - basically just existing stuff with a few tweaks. I don't doubt that some of the more obsessive simmers will lap it up, and that's great, but for the rest of us it's horse armour for TSW and objectively very expensive considering what you get.
Have you actually seen any other loco dlc?, because the class 86/2 has like 3x the amount of stuff than them. the only thing bad for now is lack of services which would be given in the upcoming route, honestly I really think some of you don’t understand the amount of actual effort and detail in the class 86
Well the main selling point of if it just leans into their point. Great pack for someone who can really appreciate the finer details, but as a general gameplay pack you’re getting something which doesn’t offer any new gameplay, roundly similar to operating the 87 & to top it off, you’ll get an 86 with their new route anyway. No debate from me it’s an excellently detailed pack, but it’s definitely something that would struggle to be attractive to a more casual crowd, who can arguably get better gameplay value from other loco packs for almost half the cost.
It comes with zero new services for WCMLOS so on release I’d argue it came with less content then most loco dlcs. For me game play is what I’m paying money for and for £20 I expect more new game play then a handful of scenarios. YMMV and you might feel that the 86 is value for money due to the liveries but not everyone will feel that way.
