This is some footage of it from 89, at the 3 minute mark you see a similar angle to the screenshot, JT’s colour looks more correct as it’s more brickwork than metal.

I think the colour changed after Unilever took over in 1990 & did the structure upgrades & additions.

I stand corrected! I spent many a day there in my youth in the 80's but must admit I don't remember it being that colour, guess my memory is worse than I thought or I was more interested in looking at the passing trains lol

Apologies to JT and fair do's to making it the colour it was back in the day.

To be fair I was unsure too, it’s one of those places that’s been the same for so long it’s hard to imagine it any different.

So I'm confused. The M8 shown on the Stamford map looks like CT Rail? But the FAQs only mentions Metro North. So are we getting both or do the liveries look familiar for the M8? I know Metro North colors are blue and not red and black

Harlem line is blue, New Havem line is red. Hudson line seems to be a mix.

excited for most of it, tho I hope Austria also gets some more love, maybe some Vienna content, Desiro ML EMUs, and RailJet with a route where it can stretch its legs

Will the Wittenberger Kopf work with both ZWS AND KWS?

At the very least, TOD-4 lighting.

BTW, Rivet does do a couple of things well, and one of those is the 3D physical modeling of rolling stock. And since the physics and sounds are just going to be borrowed anyway, the trains should be pretty decent.

It should, it does in real life. Unlike the older Karlsruher, the Wittenberger had a dual-purpose control system for both diesel and electric locos

Some criticisms of what are admittedly WIP images: the Wittenberger cab car would not have looked quite like that in the early 2000s! The new-style "long" road numbers only happened ca 2007-8, as did the REGIO DB and DB Bahn stickers. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the grab handle and step on the front of the 140 would have been removed by this time (they originally were there to facilitate washing the windshield, but by now Betriebswerke were using elevated work platforms.)
