PC Tsw 5 Enhancement | Lighting & Graphic Ep V2.3.0

It looks perfect in 4K, wow!!! When I render, my Premiere Pro sequence has the same settings as my OBS, just to keep the quality as close as possible. I do feel like rendering straight to .mp4 reduces the quality ever so slightly though. Do you usually render to that format or something else? I’ve been thinking about trying out other formats both when recording and exporting, just to see if there’s any noticeable improvement.

 

I always render in MP4. From what I understand it's what you tube recommends.
You could try MOV or MKV I suppose.
With DaVinci Resolve I'm only able to set the max bit-rate when encoding in VBR, so I've set that to 150K.
(Before today I always used CBR at 180K, (huge file sizes).
Here's some screens of the exact settings I use, some of the more advanced stuff like adaptive I frame or P frames etc
are at default, as I haven't got a clue what those do.

Godmode Temporary File to let Godmode work with TSW6 Routes:
I’ll be sharing an updated file from Discord here on the forums. It works when both files are installed.
You’ll need to place both the original Godmode file and the one I’m sharing here in your TSW mod location.

This version of the mod doesn't work for me. I checked at the training center and on other old routes. But version 0.6.2 still works, everywhere, except for m new routes.

 

did you kept the original godmode into the mod directory ?
it is not a replacement but an extra file solution
the temporary file works fine here

I’m currently working on putting together the mod for TSW6 but ‘life’ is very busy at the moment. I will be ready when it’s ready, but I am on it

 

JetWash Get to it when 'life' allows, we now have the temp file while enables it on TSW6.

Has anyone noticed that TSW6 seems to have better performance?

While using v2.3 of the Lighting mod together with the OTS timetable, and using 200% screenpercentage,
I am now comfortably reaching 60fps in 4k. (Using LS)

 

I've stopped using LS, seems to be taking away 10 fps every time I start it so if I limit my fps to 30 it drops to 20 then doubles it.
Overall I do find the performance of tsw6 better then tsw5 anyway.

 

I noticed that on the Frankfurt S-Bahn route, GodMode is still not working..

 

that is odd that route works fine here (normal service on foot)
are you sure you got Foob_GodMode_0-6-2_TSW4-5.pak?
or maybe forgot to delete previous version of it?

 

The mod version is up-to-date, plus a temporary file. It works on all the old routes I've tried and on all the new ones (TSW6). Only the FSB does not work...

 

Did you try to press escape so that you see the menu and then try to open the godmode to use the mouse? Sometimes in the game it self it will not detect that the mouse is on the top of your'e screen

 

I decided to check the version again and indeed it turned out to be 0,5,13 (somehow). Thanks for the advice.

 

What route settings did you copy over?

 

the route ini settings in godmode itself it is what is inside Jetwash mod
every route has it own ini listing
just pull down the godmode menu look on the right side for the ini setup parts
just where it should be it is empty now if on a new tsw 6 route just click on the right side to open it up
and select a route that would be close to it and in tod4 (tsw 4 5 and 6 released routes i think)

 

Yeah sorry I just meant any recommendations for routes to copy over? I guess routes like fife circle are quite similar. Will give them a try tonight and see how they run. Trial and error i guess

 

yes trial and error
if it is to bright or dark then you just change 1 setting
r.Color.Mid=0.54
lower is dark and higher is bright

for german route just use one of frunkfurt routes
for Morris you can try trenton or LIRR Commuter: New York - Long Beach, Hempstead & Hicksville Route
for River you can try West Coast Main Line: Preston - Carlisle

i think i did those do not remember exactly
