Anyone from DTG able to help me I've lost London to Milton Keynes route im sure i saw it carry over but seems to of disappeared says I have to pay for it again thanks

Its not letting me sign up i put my details in and it says it doesn't match

 

I have had that issue recently. My log in credentials are the same as Dovetail Live in the game but last several times I tried logging into the fault system I was getting invalid password. They can't even get that working properly!

 

I know thats really frustrating I've tried several times and nothing i saw London to Milton Keynes download to TSW6 and now its disappeared

 

just a quick note - if you are Xbox and have this on game pass for TSW5 - this won’t carry over as you don’t own it.

I am on xbox I had the free starter pack everything I had from TSW5 carried over I saw London to Milton Keynes download on my xbox but now its disappeared and says I have to pay for it again not amused

 

You wasn't playing through xbox game pass you ??

 

No didn't download it on gamepass

 

So you bought it out right for 29.99

 

I get the feeling this is a generic problem, I have something similar on PlayStation. The in-game store (as well as the PlayStation Store) tell me I'm not entitled to some TSW6 versions of routes I own and wants me to buy them again. I can probably download the TSW5 versions through the PlayStation Store outside of the game and work around this, but still.

On XBox you don't seem to be the only one.

I'll file a ticket with them.

I've noticed with the PlayStation store that if a route you bought in a previous version isn't downloaded/installed on TSW5, it won't recognise it as owned/free for TSW6.
I had to go into TSW5 and download routes to get them to show as owned/free for TSW6.

 

That's annoying I've never had an issue until now I might do that re download 5 and see if I can get it back the pendalino transferred over

 

Ah, right, that may indeed be the case, as I don't think I had those particular routines installed under TSW5. Thanks for the clarification!

Let's hope DTG look into this because I cannot imagine this is the way they intended it to be. I don't know what it's like on XBox, but on PS5 the yearly download-everything-again-fest is not a pleasant thing, what with two versions of each DLC (PS5 native and PS4) starting to download each time.

 

Am I able to get it back i did alot on the route i hope i haven't lost it

 

Xbox is so simple everything you own will show when the new version is available. So all we have to do is click install and thats it.

Login is disabled for normal users (at least I cant log in, and reading this thread it seems Im not the only one).

Maybe you still have access if you are a beta member, ambassador or something like that.

The new one works for me, but If memory does not fail me, I had to reset my password.

A few weeks ago, when you tried to log into the old site there was a warning message saying that they were changing to a new support site. Clearly they did not keep the message long enough, probably because they would need to keep paying the subscription. This I can understand. What I dont understand is why they did not make a new post in the forum informing us about the change and the need to reset password.

They just edited the 2023 post in the support section of the forum and changed the link to the old site with the new one. That is obviously not enough.

 

Am I going to get a response from DTG i sent a message yesterday about the route and nothing back i refuse to re buy it again

 

You won’t have to buy it again but you may have to wait a few days to get a response from DTG, especially at this time not long after the game release when they will be getting more reports through the system than usual.
