Tbh i am but will it be free if players own cjp and Sherman hill i hope but im just super excited i support the tsw team and i hope the C40-8w has that rs5t can anyone agree
I'm really hyped for santa fe gameplay pack more specifically for the new C40-8W horn and afaik it won't be free even for those who already own cajon pass and sherman hill
I hope they give it out for free if players on cjp and Sherman hill btw i own all cajon pass and the 2 gameplay packs and i own Sherman hill but if they do give it out for free that would be awesome
I've been waiting for this gameplay pack for so long. I love 90s US content and seeing it finally coming into TSW is like a dream come true. I just really hope the Leslie RS3L sounds good because it's one of my favorite horns. I'm also hopeful that this means we'll get more 90s US content in the future as well.
Not really, HIS quality hasn't been the best on TSC, and I'm not having much hopes for their TSW ventures. They do say they have a new horn, but I'm not sure how well it will be.... Why do you think it will it be free? Its a paid pack.....
Not really. We need some new (well older) US loco content to add a bit more variety, not just reskins of existing models and gameplay packs. Not to mention a new freight oriented route to drive them on.
I keep telling DTG, in here and in the surveys, that they need to look at vintage US. They can recycle the F7 and OG SD40, and add, say, a GP7 or GP9 (both of which are still plentiful on shortlines, for survey purposes) and passenger services were under brands they already have licenses for as fallen flags. Do a new train with streamliner coaches and an FP-9, E-7 or Alco PA up front, or do something from Chicago when the Rock Island ran the commuter network.
There are all sorts of things they could do using their back catalog. It would be nice to have a new loco or two, but, if they won't build them, at least make something using their existing stock. We've been begging them to pull their finger out and create some US freight for ages, but they're not listening.
I think that after that route is released, the Santa Fe package will arrive. That's what I heard in the roadmap video, October 9, 2025. I like those images of the Santa Fe Pack in Cajon Pass and the Union Pacific trains of Sherman Hills.
Hell, they couldn't even use the Clichfield stock for the ATSF F7, had to wait for some mods to do that.....
AFAIK its been that way, shame too, it was a good mod (Like alot of other older ones that never got updated)
Not really, but seeing how US content is at a deficit, I’m thankful. I’ll purchase anyways to support the makers and publisher.
I really don't get the fetish for "free free free." You have to pay people to make things. None of the people begging for "free stuff" would work full time for free. If you want more stuff made, you have to be willing to PAY for the new stuff to be made. I plan on supporting this pack to encourage more US freight content.
Ain't no body begging dude i was JUST sayin AND You just taking it personal bruh gez chill out please and thank you
thanks for the comments the free part was just saying not begging btw so please don't take it personal about the free part
I'm really looking forward to this pack. CJP is still one of my go-to's for US long haul freight and having this extra Stock will be super cool!!
Asking and insisting multiple times, then ignoring everyone who said no is begging. It's fine if you're cheap and don't want to support the game. Just be honest about it. Lots of people live in their mom's basement.
Honestly, if horseshoe curve was brought up to TSW 6 standards and had lots of fixes, it could be one of, if not, the best U.S freight routes. Shame Skyhook has basically abandoned the route..
It's a decent route, but in terms of stock and gameplay doesn't really compare favorably with the TSC version which is close to 15 years old now.
i am not Cheap once again i was just saying to support like to make players happy if you don't like this post don't comment thanks
Agreed. I really like Horseshoe Curve as I'm a big NS fan. If it was bought up to current standards it would indeed be a knockout map. A few things I could nit-pick about would be: 1) Why has there never been an NS SD40-2 added or originally included in the DLC as they were staple power there for ages. 2) The GP38-2 dyno brake & horn noise are truly terrible. 3) I suck at getting anything heavier than 10k tons down the slide lol.
