Disabling Layers

The BR110 from Linke Rheinstrecke layers on the Dresden - Riesa route. I only want to disable this specific loco from layering on this route, is this possible? I can't find this loco in the layers menu for this route.

yes it does, I saw it driving around. It's not that realistic on this route and also not the livery.

 

You are correct, the 110 from LFR does substitute into DRA. Unfortunately, since this is a substitution and not a layer, it can't be disabled. However, you might be pleased to know that the 110 does not substitute into BLD.

Could be the one, I will try to disable this one and see what happens.

 

I have noticed that too and it doesn't do much for immersion in my opinion, and I am not even that clued up on German trains. I do wish there was a way of disabling certain locos from certain routes.

Those of us who like realism have to put up with unrealistic layers because of "game play" so it seems.

 

I'm afraid you're right about the substitution. We really need a option to disable substitutions.

I can't find this layer on Dresden - Riesa, are you sure this is on DRA?

 

No sorry its on the new dresden - leipzig route.

 

Why on earth the decision to make the 110 available was made I would love to know.

No on contrary I love the loco, just I like to see it where it should realistically appear.

Well that explains I couldn't find it. The loco itself is fine, I like to drive it on Linke Rheinstrecke, but this loco is so out of place on this route especially with the livery. Possibly fine for some railtour, but not as replacement for a BR143 or BR146.

This is on Dresden - Riesa, not on Dresden - Leipzig, so my guess is, they will not change or fix anything.
