hello do you think there is a possibility iron man returning in avengers doomsday or secret wars with rd jr.? I mean it's the multiverse I really hope it happens and he gets long long time in the movie nobody is more needed than Tony stark. I hope they do the same with captain Steve rogers. do you think the new avengers movies will have the kind of good story and emotional feelings like avengers infinity war/endgame had when they released?
Depending on what films come out, he may do cameos but I think he is pretty retired from any full time roles as the Iron Man, just my thoughts. and he is gonna be a hard act to replace if they are looking for someone for anything iron man.
Iron Man won't be coming back RDJ is already playing Dr Doom now in the same movie series. That would be confusing to viewers. They can't do a "prequel" without lots of CGI to de-age him either because he's looking quite a bit older now. Now he could hand the "mantle" of "Iron Man" over. Make a power suit for someone else so they can be "Iron Man." They tried to do that with the failed "Ironheart" series that bombed this year. The problem (well... one of the many with it) was that Riri is no Tony Stark. No one is Robert Downey Jr. Of course, in a few years AI will be able to make just about anything so people will just have AI write their own Marvel movies and it'll be hell for Disney/Marvel to track them all down to sue.
You’re right. And just giving us a riri which hadn’t had any role in the MCU was just disrespectful to the big iron man. Just a cheap replacement. But with this type of multiverse that we have I think it’s presumable that iron man with RDJ will have a cameo at least. They know the fans want it. And it I think in secret wars when spider man comes there will also be something because RDJ is doom and was iron man and peter knows his face. They’ll do at least something on that storyline. And I would be very happy if they give us RDJ as iron man one last time maybe handing it over to someone worthy at secret wars. Or better would be rebooting the MCU after secret wars and give us someone near good as RDJ for iron man. But the character is also in the comics probably the biggest so at some point they have to give us Tony stark back. But I think no one can be that good as RDJ it’s incredible how he acted.
