Liam confirmed further back, to release a branded version they would have to remodel the interior appropriately which is beyond the scope of this remaster. So it will release unbranded with the GX interior still in place, much the same as the Greater Anglia and Elizabeth Line trains in Mildmay just being 710s with the interiors turned black and white instead of having the LO colours.

 

Hey Liam! I want to ask since it is somewhat GWE related. Will the Class 802s and Class 220 AI trains be enabled to spawn with custom liveries? At the moment all the AI trains from the Riviera line aren’t enabled to use any custom liveries similar to how WCML South started which is kind of a let down.

 

It's my understanding that the green GWR 387s will be branded, since DTG have the license. (some of the WIP screenshots were probably done before the license renewal was worked out). The unbranded ones will be the purple Heathrow Express trains, since DTG don't have a license deal with the airport authority.

 

There is a setting about custom liveries being enabled or not for AI trains that I think is new for TSW6, I wonder if this might be the case, though my apologies if the AI liveries are showing on other routes and not just that one.

 

Yeah it’s switched on. Unfortunately it’s the route or trains. DTG or even third parties forget to enable AI trains to use custom liveries which is a bit frustrating.

 

Maybe it's just one of those things that needs to get heavily reported so we can add the custom liveries, It's like the 158 for example it's really good for the Riveria Line but soon as I see the East Midlands Trains I loose immersion lol

 

DTG Liam can you sort out those horrid HST sounds, its got no throb and sounds like it has a turbo on constantly. It's ya 165 has done some amazing sounds on train sim community, it would amazing if you could get those implemented before you release.

 

The timetable is going to incredible! Does anyone know if the timetable 1:1 representation of the real life timetable? I believe it's set in 2016 not sure if it's summer/winter timetable

 

I'm afraid not. The 387s will still be unbranded.

 

From what I have heard things are coming along with GWE, so will we hear any more info in the next roadmap? Any guesses?

I guess the community are just keeping our eyes pealed for an article discussion about this & a release date in mind, but that's really good to hear! Seriously looking forward for this route next!

I'd imagine with the Riviera release and the GWR license being back in force, the branding can be easily added to the 387 as the 802 which appears to have one service as a test run, will have branding anyway
