When I install all of the DLC-s who released, the TSW6 doesn't load, the loading screen starts but in the half of the loadig process the game is crashing and taking back to Xbox home screen.
DTG Alex DTG Harry DTG JD DTG Matt FINALLY! Someone else is having the same issue that I have been having since TSW5. Unless I gut a ton of content, the game refuses to load the majority of the time, meaning free roam and spawning in vehicles from other countries elsewhere is now impossible. Please look into this issue, and better optimise the game on Xbox Series consoles to be able to load when every single piece of DLC is installed. We already put up with both audio and graphical issues, and now the game is nigh on unplayable as intended.
For me is started since the TSW3 when I used on Xbox one s, then I changed to Series X then the TSW3 and the TSW4 is worked relatively fine than comed the TSW5 and it started the issue, in this version usually the game is loaded after second try, but now in TSW6, the first time with all DLC-s it loaded after second try but since than it doesn't loadig and in yesterday I needed to delete almost the half of the DLC-s for it loadig again. It's frustrating because we payd a lot of money for the DLC-s and we can't use all of them .
DTG Matt As an Xbox player yourself, will this be taken seriously, and finally be looked into? Is there anything that the two of us might be able to do to help? With TSW5, after raising a ticket on the issue, I went through the painstaking process of booting the gams up after downloading one piece of DLC at a time, and it finally crapped out at around 86 pieces of installed content, which is nowhere near enough, when it should be booting up fine with ALL content installed, even if that process does take close to 6 minutes.
I also tried howmany DLC can I install, and for me the game loading until 90, if I install one more the game crashes, so with the newest DLC I can't use 49 DLC until the issue isn't be fixed.
What the heck? Yesterday it was loaded with 90 DLC, now it's crash again and I needed to delete 4 more DLC again for it load again.
Yes, but not in the internal storiage, I have a Storiage expansion card and every other game I have is on there.
So is it best to have TSW6 on internal storage instead? It shouldnt make any difference where its stored though.
Yes I tried it on the ssd memory drive and it did not work that well. So I moved all on the internal drive and had no problems
I also use in the internal storiage, but I only can use stability 86 DLC than I install more the game crash.
Yes, some Liveries for the Voyager, Some for the Br628, some for the Br218, some for the TGV, and some for the Allegra
Creators Club shouldn't be affecting the game launching though, since it is not even being accessed at that point.
So I deleted all liveries I used and I could install 10 more DLC, without crash so now I can use 96 DLC, when I try one more then it's crash again.
I have my dlc on external and the base game plus Fulda-Frankfurt and NY Trenton on Internal Since last playing back in TSW4 load times were very quick as good as near instant, same setup minus Frankfurt, now with about an extra 4 dlcs since that time with same setup the load times is probably over 2 minutes, feels so slow.
So you installed all of the DLC-s who released and the game is on the expansion card and the DLC-s are on the internal storiage and it loads "normaly" actually with creator club liveries using?
So in short terms this is not game related but user related?! In my opinion you have to install games as it should be... Internal and not with external disks or drives. On pc this way with external drives outside the motherboard is also problematic.
We're on XBOX and I Installed the game to the Internal storiage from the Microsoft's xbox store, and when I use until 96 DLC (I have 139 DLC) without creator club liveries (when I use the usable DLC-s number goes down to 86) the game with a long loading time it works but if I try one more, the loading screen starts but usually at the half of the loading process it crashes out back to the XBOX-s main menĂ¼.
Please do not Ping the whole team again and again. Its weekend so no response until tomorrow for sure.
i did the same with TSW4 and it worked fine with what your asking on series x, TSW6 has more issues with load times I've found, and I've not tried much with CC on TSW6.
Sorry, I didn't realise you worked for DTG... They haven't responded once to this thread, so I don't think it matters when they get pinged.
Hi there. Apologies this was missed. I'll investigate this with dev. Has this been happening since day one or since the last update?
Thank you for getting back to us Harry, you're the real MVP at DTG! On TSW5, it started once DLC content installed exceeded roughly 86 items installed. On TSW6 my initial boot-up once everything was installed minus 2 expert DLC and the then unavailable Peninsular Corridor content was successful, and I naively thought that it had been fixed, but alas this was not the case, and ever since the issue has resumed. As such, I now only install one route that I am currently playing, and its required layers, which is an awful shame.
That's plenty information. Thank you so much. I'll catch up with dev and see if there's been any movement on this.
For me in TSW 5 with all DLC-s and plenty of Creator Club liveries, it loaded usually second try, but the TSW 6 with more then 86 item and the liveries, it didn't load, after I removed all of the liveries I used and now it loads until 96 DLC, when I try install one more it doesn't load.
