But I don't understand that the AI train will pass the Red signal regardless of the stopping point The position of signal BM 5309 at platform 9 in Birmingham New Street is shifted in relation to the contact in the track which is the actual signal ...this results in some AI trains passing the Red signal and the game is over.. See time 16:29:30 and AI train stop 1V12

So DTG you take my £30 sell a route thats in such a bad state (should never have been released like this obviously no testing was ever done). And now we have to wait a week after release for a patch to hopefully improve it. You are taking ssssssss out of your loyal customers. And you haven't even fixed the last mess you for TSW6 routes and locos. Im gobsmacked that you think this is acceptable.
To be honest they need to give this lady a raise she's actually gone above and beyond trying to log every single error that people are reporting which is actually fantastic however yes this person does need sleep she's been up since the crack of dawn.

Reading the patch notes, the AI SPADs aren't even listed on the being investigated section, are we going to have another Spirit of Steam situation where this isn't fixed for years?
From the plan published I can't see getting this route until at least next month if all the promised fixes are followed through, which includes: - fixing the AI SPADs - ensuring the game doesn't crash - ensuring all scenarios can be completed
I appreciate the roadmap-style plan to fix the problems with this pack, and my sincere thanks to the DTG staff who've had to bear the brunt of the community response on this. I also really feel for the DTG and AABS team members who have very clearly put their genuine passion and soul into this project. But at the end of the day, it's still honestly appalling that the pack was released in the state that it was in the first place. If the pack still needs several days just to be functional for a large group of players, then an extra week or so for improvements and bug fixes, then the pack should not have been released to begin with. Obviously I'm not privy to all the discussions and decisions that contributed to this situation, and it's easy for me to say, but I feel like this is pretty basic. I'd be more forgiving if this was a one-off issue, but between this, the release of TSW6, Manchester Airport Commuter, WCMLS, etc., it's a pattern that shouldn't be tolerated by paying customers, nor the developers and publishers whose names and careers are attached to it. I certainly will not be spending any money on TSW or any Dovetail product unless, at the very least, some sort of official statement is put out detailing what exactly went wrong, how these fundamental issues were missed, and what DTG plans to do moving forward to ensure this does not happen again.
You could say this for the last year of releases. It's the same every time with Jamie posting the same copy and paste replies with no substance. An idea would be to run a closed live stream of each DLC beforehand with the beta testers and senior personnel before one with the public. That way big issues (Voyager brakes locking) aren't getting noticed when it's too late which embarrassingly seems to happen most releases.
I am very new to the TSW game and 6 is my first, I’ve enjoyed other games before with added DLC but for a company to release content knowing it has problems like it has is really not right to the consumer, it’s like they thought let’s take the money and worry about fixing it after. Yeah there will be bugs like all games have but there is a standard a game or DLC should be released and that standard wasn’t met at all with this DLC. I definitely will be waiting to buy the next DLC until it’s up to a standard that’s playable.
Can someone on xbox x tell how many playable services you have. I have 394 and all the relevant dlc. That Jamie reckons we should have 522. Also what build number you on.

Why are the brakes so weak on the 350/1 with two shades of green doing 100 put it in brake notch 10 1 mile from station by the time I get to station still going 50.
It doesn't, it is on their list of things to fix so don't waste money buying something you don't want, the Voyager should work without it in a few patches time.
The communication would be so much better if Sam was never pushed out. I'm not surprised he was, he was holding the devs accountable
Xbox X:TSW 6 crashes when arriving at Crewe after starting at Birmingham. So far it seems to happen with the Class 390 Pendolino and the Class 220 Voyager
Happens with everything arriving into Crewe in my experience. It’s not you it’s Crewe!! I’ve found the only workaround is to save as you get to Basford Yard and then reload.

I've had no real issues with this route. Did a fair few of runs now and i haven't seen anything very bad ((yet))... a few things i noticed: - no announcements on the pendolino, and some other trains - the brakes on the 350 police thingy are very very too good i think (haven't checked the others) but i had very different brake experience with other 350s - tpws before wolverhampton, as someone else mentioned (not sure if my fault) - i think i saw Signal delays (unconfirmed) - shadows on the rails!! - timetables, on a pendolino run i started with 'wait 6 minutes', then 15 minutes in wolverhampton, i don't mind the 15 minutes halfway, but 6 at the start is annoying It's all by all a good route, and a nice first for AllAboard. But the timing is terrible. It has a bit the same profile as the riviera line.. - crewe to wolverhamption is very similar to plymouth to newton abbot, long stretch, few stations - wolverhampton to birmingham is very similar to newton abbot-exeter. conclusion: my negative issues are technical. Route is great but has a very bad timing just after Riviera. Good start for All Aboard Studios, but we need a bit more shaving off the rough edges, and details with timetables this was on Steam
I just spawned on foot at Basford Hall and drops a class 86, currently running it down to Stafford. It’s 10am and not a single AI train anywhere. No AI trains on the map either. I had all the layers except Class 153 installed. Playing on PS5. Am I missing something? Where is all the AI? Currently the entire route is empty
Do not play this route in DX12 - this route has issue very similar to the good old BML East Croydon Lights issue which tanks your FPS to 5. Very poor performance in Wolverhampton. This may caused by some train trying to find a path. Class 390 Services at BHM require pixel precision to stop which has chances to SPAD. In the image distance is only 23yd but still not enough 13:35 @ Wolverhampton Pl. 3 has two trains scheduled to depart at the very same time, this causes traffic jam. Also why is an AWC service waiting for several minutes for a XC Voyager to pass??? Sandwell has labeling bug on entry - both sign says platform 2.
(Steam WCML BHM-CRE) Bugs / Improvements 1. Incorrect signage at Sandwell & Dudley. *photo attached. 2. Timetable is so wishy woshy, could be much better. Plus where’s the arrival times? 3. AI Trains randomly pass red signals around 07:05 causing the game to end. 4. South of Stafford I can’t control the class 390 for about a mile. The speedometer drops to zero but we’re still moving, then I have to wait till I’ve completely stopped and reset all systems. 4.1. When this happens to my class 390 I can then hear all of Staffords announcements but I’m still about 1.75-3 miles out. 5. Are there any AI Avanti services that fly straight through Crewe, as I ay seen any? 5.1 When the class 805 is released as a DLC will this be a layer for North Wales services? 6. When I try to create a custom scenario there’s not much choice, for example if I try set a path from BHM to CRE it only allows me to use certain platforms at BHM then for some reason I can only make the path stop at WVH. 7. CIS issues, the screens for example say a train is going to Rugeley Trent Valley from Crewe but then it calls at Rugeley goes all the way around Walsall, BHM then back to Rugeley it just makes no sense. 8. Is the XX:13 usually LNR CRE-EUS only a 2tp2h frequency? 9. Announcements are constant which is sometimes annoying, especially at stations like Dudley Port where the announcer is saying “please board the train now as it is ready to leave”, it’s not immersive as the automated announcements would never say that unless it was a terminus like Euston. 10. Missing stations for announcements. 11. Not seen any freight movements even though I own all layers. 12. Platform 5 at WVH is way to underutilised. 13. Platform 6 at WVH should have some ECS timetable built into it. 14. PLEASE add AI services on the high-level platforms at Smethwick Galton Bridge. Just 4tph in each direction. It would be so immersive and nostalgic to see stations such as Stourbridge, Dorridge and Kiddi scrolling across the dot matrix’s. 15. Missing a trick with the few XC services which run via Stourbridge Junction. You could start the journey near Galton Bridge JNC into New Street. 16. Possibly make the Utilitia Arena as you approach the New St North Tunnels light up at night. *after passing closed Soho*. 17. Why is Soho Depot always empty and is there the train washer as I didn’t notice it? On another note this is by far the best route for me that has ever been released. The developers have some critical improvements to make such as timetabling, AI death errors, blurry images… etc. But other then that thank you so much for bringing yam yam land into the game!!! All we need now is some kind of way to join EUS-MKC to BHM-CRE!!!!!
yeah performance for this route is very poor on DX12 for some reason which is a stark contrast to the core TSW6 routes, but on DX11 it was even worse…
- Only 459 playable services (PC) all DLC owned - Random Crashing which is not reproduceable upon reopening and replaying the same route same train same date same weather - FPS Dies at SRS and Crewe - somewhat reasonable at crewe but no way it should be that laggy at SRS - 350s are still a mess with fps and sound issues
Thats really weird, I just tried this and the FPS at Crewe is so much better running on DX11 which is usually very much not the case with routes since DX12 was even introduced. Thats the weirdest thing ever.
I think it really boils down to system configuration and the way the game is optimized. Likely a healthy mix of both factors. Very weird indeed!
There is an invisible wall just south of Smethwick Galton Bridge, near the first bridge there. You cannot walk through it, and one of the collectibles is down that way. it also causes issues when driving using the external camera, as the invisible wall causes the external camera to bounce around and move from it's set position. could this be looked at, and the invisible wall removed?
Looks like it was the right choice to keep my "No Buy" button pressed.... Seriously they have to do better..., the TSW6 core routes havent been fixed either. Its so obvious that DTG lost control over the entire thing, and guess what: they are in a hurry with TSW7 now, customers do you really think they give a damn after you spent your bucks? I save a lot of annoyance with skipping basicly all releases. Hell im willing to buy even expensive well made dlcs. Unfortunately i cant find them anymore.

I have such a huge back catalogue now, I could honestly probably play TSW for the rest of my days and never have to buy another DLC. I dived into the Bernina Line last night, which I had barely touched since picking up in a sale, and had a great time. So both DTG and the 3P’s need to consider, in order to sell me any future DLC at full price on Day One, it has to be both mega iconic and as highly polished/bug free as they can get it.
Yeah, I'm following a similar pattern. If I'm interested in a route and it shows up well in preview streams, then I'll buy it in the first week of release, otherwise it can wait as I've got plenty to occupy me.
I am on PC and the route itself is fantastic with great variation of AI traffic around Birmingham and a good mix of long and short runs. Performance is decent but then I am on a pretty good PC. My only big issue is with AI SPAD's. Other minor issues are the way the timetable is setup to not show destination times and the driver doors on one of 350's being completely shiny and clean in contrast to the rest of the body. Get these issues sorted out and it will be one of the better routes for TSW.
Agreed with a post earlier, performance (FPS) is down at Smethwick Rolfe Street, something weird going on there. Get decent performance elsewhere. PC. Overall though, loving the route!
Alright, so a quick update! I brought it up, and hopefully the Dev teams will let us know where the AI SPADS are in the list of patches that I saw before the announcement was posted, and if it is in the Hotfix, I'll let you know, or Alex will. Game crashes are addressed in the fixes, as I know that was a HUGE one reported, and honestly, I'd want that fixed too (we'll see if I have any issues when I try the route later today). Scenarios are definitely something that is on the list. I'm hoping it comes with the November patch, but I'm waiting on confirmation with that one.
I know I'm going a little off topic, but since a lot of folks here don't use the Discord for whatever reasons they may have, would y'all like me to post any updates or info I receive here too (as long as Alex or another team member hasn't addressed it already)?
