What Uk Region Do You Want To See Next?

Selfishly, because I grew up in Yalding and Maidstone, I’d love to see the Medway Valley Line where SEHS could meet London Commuter between Strood and Redhill via Tonbridge and Paddock Wood, perfect for route hopping. However I’d like to see the route done in the early 90s though. I believe ATS did part of the MVL for TSC.

 

Got to be East Anglia as it doesn’t have a route which seems unfair. Is the Greater Anglia license a problem?

 

Probably not now they're with the DfT.

 

I think it's difficult because of the upcoming re-nationalisation

Not sure why they haven’t done the c2c given they did Barking, and the detail was incredible so would have had to have c2c support and it used their house colours.

 

Probably licensing was an issue until recently, but having now moved into public ownership that obstacle has hopefully gone.

 

East still winning. South East second.

So the sweet spot would appear to be a part of the Eastern Region that's also in the South East corner of England.

I'd love to see the Edinburgh to Helensburgh via Bathgate/Airdrie with the class 334. Also extensions to the Fife Circle up to Dundee and/or Perth.

 

Voted Wales, but think it's essential to expand Scotland further, including South East and the entire central UK cross-area. We desperately need Northern, TPE etc. at this point!
