A few very minor things... Missing speed boards - 30mph leaving Wolves to Brum, 100mph on the Up Slow leaving Crewe for Stafford. Watching some cab rides they appear to be there, but maybe they were actually missing for the routes time period? Also, would be nice to see some HGV type traffic on the motorway overbridges, always adds to the liveliness of a route. The M6 leaving Stafford to Crewe always looked packed with traffic watching the cab rides, can't really see much of it in the route. Still really enjoying the route, had a great run in a 350 from Crewe to Brum with real weather (from the excellent app), got delayed due to sticking doors (having set defects to off?) which led to delays after Wolves - where a Shrewsbury to Brum 170 got the route before me. I've said it before, but a brilliant effort from AABS.
Got a feeling there are issues with putting HGV's in the vehicle spawners. Issue present on the US routes where you would expect to see the highways and freeways chocca with big rig trucks, but the largest vehicle is a dump truck. Can't be licencing as there are static tractor/trailers parked up at various locations.
I am still having issues with that fault in the 350s which cause the doors to not function properly. Also another issue that I noticed in earlier routes with the 350, the reverser gets stuck in forward and it will not move for the keyboard, mouse or Rail Driver.
Is there a known issue with the timetable, where you select a journey starting at Crewe, but you find yourself at Stafford?
Same issue! I've reported it, and Kezz mentioned they'd take a look! So hopefully a fix will come soon!
Same, a 350 was sat in Crewe with a route set while all expresses were held in a queue. 350 was over 30 minutes late and didn’t seem to want to move until i abandoned my 390 and commandeered the 350. Definitely a dispatch issue happening!
Patch has made performance and crashing way worse on B2C at Smethwick GB - however Crewe is a lot more stable, if you can stablilise the smethwick stations and birmingham new street as you have done with Crewe it will make the game much more playable. Side note the voyager services on BCC are showing not in service when they should be saying Bristol Temple Meads or whatever.
I'm not sure what the new patch was supposed to do (I previously had no issues at all) but it's made both Birmingham - Crewe and the Riviera Line on PS5 impossible. Even with faults turned off, they still occur but can not be cleared. You have to quit to main menu. It happened 3 times before I gave up.
Hey y'all! Just making a note that everything above this post has been documented and sent to the devs! Thank you, as always, for your great reports. It may seem like you are talking into a void, but I can tell you the community team is doing everything we can to report these issues and get them to the devs! I hope we have some good news for you very soon! Until then, you'll see me and the other community team members checking on reports and letting you know it's been sent to the right teams.
I always thought the same as in why there's no trucks , but could it be something to do with in that it would hit performance so they compromise maybe?
Since the patch the Voyager layer now works on PS5, but I noticed last night the class 87 has now disappeared. It’s not even showing on Preston-Carlisle that it came with! Anyone else found this?
. It's because service 1F13 is stuck. Happened to me. Just delete the train and you'll be able to continue the service. I'm on PC(Steam)
Platform PC/steam Already did multiple runs on the birmingham crewe route timetables after that update.... still getting really bad frame drops and severe performance issues at the Smethwick Rolfe Street station specifically.
Hi candacedtg And in the feedback thread on the Dresden–Leipzig route, no one mentions that the reported errors have been logged or anything else. Serious errors are described there that have not been fixed to this day, and as we know DTG, they will never be fixed.
Already reported above, but Voyager service 1M41 has 2 coaches stuck off the end of the platform. Got a feeling it should actually be 4 coaches and not a double unit with 8.
Did you disabled any layers? Maybe they not visible in game but on the map you can see them. So please check the layers that you have active should i advise
When are AAB going to provide the updated timetable with arrival times and more important fix the nonsensical double door open and close? I just powered out of Crewe with the Voyager (now it’s unlocked) and got about 5 miles up the line before spotting Unlock Doors still shown on the HUD. Fortunately stopping the train and unlocking then locking the doors cleared the objective and moved forward to the next stop at Stafford but really, what the hell?
Just a note, I know that the devs identified this station as being one of the main problems. So, yep, you're 100% right, they are working to fix it though!
So the thing with this is that I can say I'm in touch with the devs and the rest of the DTG team on the B2C route. As for other routes, I'll be going back as soon as I can to try to get fixes out to the devs for those routes. I'll probably create a new post for "After the October 2025 Update" bugs that are still showing for a few routes, unless the community prefers to do so. I don't want to report older, already fixed bugs, as I'm coming in late to report on them.
I've noticed for the first time today that some of the timetable already has arrival times. Whether they've been added in an update or I've just picked services without them, I'm not sure. As for the double "lock doors" instruction, I remember it being required on the WCMLS Enhancement Pack mod timetable. Unfortunately, I can't find the original post anymore, but if I remember correctly it was used to somehow affect the routing of the train (possibly as a side effect).
Important: In welcoming the new person, I don't mean to exclude Harry, Jan, and the others who have also been present and working hard as PoCs between the community and DTG. Customer interfacing is often a thankless job, and it's not possible to send too many thanks to the people who take it on.
No worries! Harry, Jan, Alex, Tadeo, and I work together to make everything happen. I have just had more free time right now to post and chat one-on-one, being the new person!
