Posting this here in the hope dovetail see it and can answer this time! In the patch notes for the 28 October patch were these: None of these seem to be implemented though (at least on XSX?) The class 170 is still completely silent over points and there are no running sounds unless you're accelerating at full throttle or braking heavily, otherwise the only sound you hear is an idling engine. On the WMR 170 preview stream Tyler mentioned that all the improvements (the above audio fixes and suspension) would make their way into Fife circle so are these supposed to now be live?
I guess you playing on console and its already known its not a part of the update for consoles. For PC users on Steam they have implemented it.
I am in console yes, Xbox series X. Is there a post saying it hasn't been implemented yet on consumes? I can't see anything in the release notes at: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/train-sim-world-6-game-update-28th-october-2025.94991/ so assumed it would have been.
This is already discussed by different users so yeah its not available on console but it is on Steam. I have it on pc. They messed up this patch
I've seen it mentioned by multiple people, myself included but haven't yet seen a response from dovetail about it so the purpose of this thread (before it gets moved to troubleshooting, again) was to ask Dovetail where are these improvements are because I've heard nothing.
Believe me they will read this but you have to wait for a later patch. Or make a report by DTG via the Support Center of you do not trust my point
I know they'll read it, as I'm sure they have the multiple times I posted in the Fife circle feedback thread over the years only to be met with silence, or the times the problem has been posted in here only for the thread to get moved into the troubleshooting forum by someone at dovetail without ever replying or acknowledging it!
Just checking in to see if there's any updates. No? Not surprised. Guess we have to add the release notes to the list of faults too as they're also incorrect.
So they pushed out an update and deliberately left consoles out of it, despite the issue plaguing all platforms?
It’s being looked into according to a mod on discord, honestly they sounded confused when I sent this thread over
