Hello, While creating routes in the Map Editor, I encountered a visual issue. After laying a certain length of track, I used the Move Tool to place bridges, embankments, or tunnels. During driving tests, I noticed that when the train travels in the opposite direction of how the bridge (or other structure) was placed, the upcoming bridge/embankment/tunnel sections disappear and only become visible when the train gets very close. I'd like to ask: Is this behavior part of the game's rendering or loading mechanism? Could it be caused by hardware performance limitations? Or might it be related to asset settings or the way I constructed the sections in the editor? Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
There's a level of detail setting or something like that in edit mode. I recall some assets not showing up if it's set below maximum. Not sure about lofts though. Normally a bad bin file if they start to disappear.
Try substituting a standard kuju or DTG equivalent and check that it behaves ok. If it does behave ok then the fault lies in these specific assets. Are both these lofts made by the same company/person? If so then email them and ask if you can get a contact address. If a default loft shows the same behaviour then there is something happening in your specific route - not a bug I have ever heard of so a bit stuck in offering further advice.
