Can anyone work out the 2nd Tier November mastery with regards to the 1 collectable then walk 1km, then walk 10kms within one freeroam scenario? I have tried the actual Free Roam and also walking in a Timetable Freeroam , I walked from Carlisle station all the way to Kingmoor yard and back and nothing registered that I have done any of it, really annoying and frustrating, am I doing something wrong here? Can anyone help and advise how to complete this one please? Thankyou.
Sometimes it takes a while for progress to show up, but if it persists raise a ticket with Support. Take a look at this thread and you will see that it can be a frequent issue... https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/monthly-masteries.88909/
Hiya. Yes, I already read that post, I have had nothing but trouble with these monthly masterys for the last 6 months now and have put in umpteen support tickets about it, but ! You guessed it ! Still it continues.
Interesting-- I put in a ticket for problems with October mastery challenges not registering, got a personal email from JD and the problem was sorted within 48 hours

I've had to raise tickets in 6 different monthly masteries so far this year. How many more do I need to have for my personal email?
There are definitely issues with it (again) already this month. My Tier One campaign shows 2 out of three rainy scenarios as completed but has not registered the distance travelled. Put in a Support ticket but not going to get sorted before Monday so amusing myself in farm Sim 25 and Snowrunner until then.
The counter being stuck is always easily resolved, they just have to kick the server a bit to get it going again. I mostly ignore it nowadays, as the progress still registers in the background and completes the mastery when done.
Hi Foggy. Thankyou for that, it clearly says walk 10 kms though, must have been a misprint, thanks for the advice, I will now drive 10 kms instead of walk and hopefully !! That will complete it. Thanks again Foggy, much appreciated.
The problem is, if you exceed the 80km, will that roll over to start the Tier 2 distance accumulation if Tier 1 hasn’t registered as complete?
Yes, it has resumed the counter in Tier 2 without issues. It does start at zero though, as it always does.
Make that 7 months, the 'November Rain' bit worked yesterday (got to 2/3), but it's become stuck today. Ticket raised. What a flipping palaver.
Hi did you complete this in timetable on foot or actally in free roam mode? iv never used free roam before and have no clue how to do this i did manage to spawn a train by randomly hiting buttons and found it on th d-pad but all signals are red so cant drive 10 foot letalone 10 km
You have to set a path in free roam. Click on the train in the map, set path and then on your preferred destination. Then the signals will clear.
Logging the bug report just gets the generic/AI response from "John". "Thank you for reaching out to Dovetail Player Support and reporting the issue with the November Monthly Mastery. It seems this can be a bug-related issue, so we're going to log your report and forward it to our development team for further investigation. " Hopefully when the Chatham people come back to work in the morning they will kick the server back in to life but it's a shame that Jamie or Alex, whomever is the Mastery "lead" aren't keeping a closer eye on this particularly when the new month rolls over.
