    Am I missing something:

red handle on back wall raised
    Brakes released
    Reverser forward
    Throttle in notch up

Still won’t go above 10 mph, it’s the southbound liner scenario, and I sometimes hear a noise where I need to press the pantograph up button again. I also have a needle in the yellow section after moving from notch up to run up.

the other 87 scenario I finished fine. This one is proving difficult.

You may have overloaded the throttle. In this case you need to set the throttle back to off, press reset pantograph and apply power again

Generally you can push into the upper end of the yellow sector on the ammeter without the power tripping, but anything over that is asking for trouble!

It's a heavy train as well that one and it does take a while to build up speed.
