    Evening all,

Sorry for what may be a silly question but i am at a loss here now lol.

Have been in awe of the amazing content getting made for TSW series and the dedication developers have for it and been wanting to dip my toe into the editor. I have watched the tutorial for the editor on the youtube channel however i am at a loss when it is coming to creating the tiles and popping the google earth co ordinates in.
Is there a correct way to pop the co ordinates in from google as when i am doing it then using the command line to create the tiles when it is done i just have the chequered board square with no terrain showing unlike Lukas has in the youtube tutorial after doing his.

any help is greatly appreciated thank you in advance.

Just a quick formatting tip, that for the longitude, the PC editor requires negative values for a western co-ordinate. I think it also needs negative latitude values for a location in the southern hemisphere, but I haven't tried that. Also I seem to recall it uses a decimal format instead of minutes, but there are many free online converters for that

I don´t know, if I understand that right but you try to create Landscape Tiles just with the coordinates you typed in? You need an KML File for that, not just coordinates. There are tutorials for that aswell, you basically need to create a path in google earth, following the route you wanna create and placemarks for every station. You may have a look at this guide https://docs.google.com/document/d/1I6AABG0TIIS1Cg8ccXWzTYYGaO0qEKlRZkqkCABI1M0/edit?tab=t.0 and/or this https://docs.google.com/document/d/...xo8P6djUyCb1jPX13D1AbdYm3PapxTof-Q-7RdG3C/pub and maybe this (it´s in german but there are english subtitles availible).
    Good Luck.

hi I have done that already

so I started off with google earth I make the line using the little icon at the drop to drop points along the line I wanted to make. I then used the yellow drawing pin icon to mark the stations and name them. Made a new folder in google earth and dragged the named locations into that folder. I then saved that folder on my desktop and saved it as a on file. In the editor I then placed that klm file into the klm folder I created in the editor.

I then in the editor make a new route point it to the maps folder I created for the route pop the co ordinates in and select the klm file on the editor to be used.
It creates the tiles one by one but when it done it’s just all flat still.
I have followed lukas exactly on the offices drg tutorial even doing the route he does and it does exactly the same even though I follow every step he does.
He mentions about dem file and how he made that but doesn’t show you how he done that is this why my “terrain” isn’t showing because I don’t have a dem file
