My preference is for UK routes but I'm thinking of getting the San Bernardino route. Anyone got it on XBox console and willing to offer their thoughts?

I got it on xbox series x performance is ok. My personal opinion its a boring route quite slow in places and single track running in part of it. Most jobs are split into two parts. I think its about 40 miles long. If you have cajon pass that adds freight jobs and shunting. Comes with loco and cabcar.

Owned on PC but incredibly boring. Essentially a straight run through freeways, back yards then semi arid urban terrain. Antelope Valley is much nicer. Buy on sale only would be my advice.

If you are looking for a us route if you dont own any. I would suggest boston sprinter, Boston-worcester or Morristown.

Thank you.... I've got my eye on the Canadian Oakville route too.....but not sure if it's compatible to play on TSW 6.

You can get it for tsw6 its ok a bit repetitive and quite a short route comes with to locos and primarily freight.

Oakville is worth it for the GP9rm, the best loco in the game. But wait until it goes on sale, which it frequently does.

Would rather watch Grass grow than sit through a run of San Bernardino… by far one of the most boring routes in TSW…

The main thing I like SB for is if I want to settle in for a proper long session doing runs between Barstow and Lancaster.

I thought it was a well made route with an interesting setting, but must admit it’s not one I often come back to.

I really think San Bernadino is a good route. You have local freight operations in the San Bernadino area and commuter runs. If you follow US rules and blow the horn at all crossing, it makes it interesting. In San Bernadino it is a quiet zone where you can not ring the horn going over crossings. Scenery is done pretty good as well with litter around all the stations. Plenty of freight sidings for local runs.

The only bad part of the route is the highway running after the Cal State station. The automobile traffic is pathetic.

I quite enjoyed it.... Enough to unlock all the achievements and run a few additional services anyway.

Performance is decent on XBOX Series X and the locos and scenery are OK, apart from dodgy pathfinding and graphics affecting the road traffic which you run alongside for much of the route.

Not a favourite, but I certainly wouldn't describe it as boring.

Seeing LA highways in TSW always makes me think of how much trouble could have been avoided if Bill Foster in Falling Down had just taken the train.

Ah, you see, this is the 2020s, the future, therefore we have that fancy hovercar tech that was promised.

Besides the boringness of the route, I am irritated by the fact that there are no working safety systems on it.
