They'd have to acknowledge the underlying cause to fix it.

It doesn't get fixed until they lose money...

Same! I'm hoping we get a teaser for what they're working on pretty soon

Not much news this month. But it`s okay, waiting for the BR 420 and the new German route

Let’s face it, that just isn’t true. For over a year now brilliant routes have been ruined by blurry textures, and we appear no closer to a fix than when it began. Just because they’ve said they’re working on it doesn’t mean they are, and certainly doesn’t mean they will. Whilst people continue purchasing broken content, dtg have got little incentive to spend time fixing the biggest issue in tsw.

Exactly, I can't say that the latest patch brought any improvement in texture blurring.

Even seeing ‘screen grabs’ I’m not entirely convinced its ever coming out at all!

I think the 104 DMU will be out before the GWR remaster...and that's all but cancelled

Strange that we all know the ScotRail Inter7City is coming but it's still not on the roadmap.

Decent roadmap from my point of view as a WCML fan!

Blurry textures are frustrating but haven't stopped me playing. I haven't added the Birmingham to Crewe route yet though as the issues go further than just blurry textures which is a worry. Will jump on when the addon is in better shape and with the 805 I think.

Maybe there will / should be a WCML bundle with a bulk buying discount??!!

I mistakenly bought the Bham to Crewe route on ps5 after the update, and it's disappointing. It doesn't crash, but using any of the 350 variants that come with it is frustrating as the textures will blur within minutes.

Weirdly, the 220 doesn't suffer the blurriness. (But the rest of the map does when using the Voyager)

Such a shame as I really want to support the developer and enjoy this route, but I can't justify it, particularly not with all the other upcoming things I could spend money on too.

That route was the last straw. If a route/loco releases with the texture issue, it's a no buy from me.

At least the items that were already announced in the August roadmap for a maximum of three months (calculated from the TSW 6 release date, if in doubt) (Stuttgart – Heilbronn, BR 420 & BR 145 Expert) should be released before New Year's Eve, otherwise the three months will no longer be sufficient. I strongly assume that these will be released in time for or shortly before the Christmas shopping season.

Another roadmap filled with upcoming DLCs (more like half-finished cash grabs!) -a clear reminder that Dovetail’s priorities remain focused on quantity over quality. Instead of addressing the long-standing bugs and unfinished features that have plagued the core game for years, we’re once again presented with a lineup of new content that will likely repeat the same mistakes.

It’s honestly impressive how Dovetail keeps managing to release new DLCs that feel like early-access betas, all while core issues remain untouched. The unfair trade practices, the rushed releases, and the lack of accountability are really starting to define this company’s reputation.
I’m sure we can all look forward to hundreds of new bugs joining the old ones .....the true Dovetail tradition.

Maybe one day we’ll get a roadmap that focuses on stability, quality, and actually finishing what’s already been sold!
