I don't usually pop into any of the YouTube streams, but I was thinking that it would be nice to have some of them, maybe the roadmap certainly and other big announcements, streamed to audio as a podcast. Not sure that the previews of new routes would work, but it would be very handy to have the roadmaps, certainly, on audio. As someone who walks daily, I look for new things to listen to and having a TSW podcast would be great.
I've had trouble doing that with YouTube. Besides, it would give DTG another way to get the word out.
I’ve suggested this before and hope DTG will take it up. I don’t have time to watch a two hour stream and the stream will cut out anyway as soon as phone locks. I’d like to listen to the audio when on train to work or walking the dog. An audio only option would help get it to a wider audience. And not sure it needs much of any additional work other then uploading to a podcast site. Green signals have their show on Apple Podcasts and then the video on YouTube.
Thank you. As a podcast producer myself, I know that transferring a podcast from video to audio can be done fairly easily. DTG shouldn't have any problem.
