Wow it has AWS.... Does it have doors too? Seats? Those other things, what were they again... wheels?

That timetable does not seem overly packed tho, with 2 trains per hour east of Lewes.

Signs or no signs. These companies do run the stations.
You could be right, maybe Im barking up the wrong tree. Just for example though, If You travelled to your local or main station, with a camera and taking notes. The staff might turn a blind eye. If youre there for research, for a game you intend to make profit from, added to the fact that another TOC features in your game. There might be an issue.

Just because you aren't looking forward to it, but someone else is excited, there is no need to ridicule them!

Im hoping its going to be a cracker as well. If the guys and girls have produced something really good then Im definately going to be applauding it! Wouldn't it be a marvellous launch pad into 2020 if this route shows real forward movement on some of the legacy issues from early on in the TSW brand development. Here's hoping.

Yes, but I would expect most of that to be a given in TSW by now. I am hoping for something new that we haven’t seen in TSW before that is a real wow factor such as GSMR in the cab, working interactive touchscreens in the cab with more than just setting the destination, cab sway, scrolling electronic displays or working PIS (this last one seems very unlikely thought judging by the screenshots).

There is always hope and this is a big step in right direction to best of my knowledge this is only the 2nd foray into EMU territory the 1st being the Lirr m7 but 1st British EMU route it’s very exciting

Yes, I’m excited too. I’ve been waiting two years for a UK electric train. It’s just with DTG you often have to somewhat qualify that excitement or you’ll end up being disappointed.

So would that mean that working PIS as a feature is close?

The German trains already have working displays. The 377 will be the first one to have scrolling displays.

I doubt it. Would be good, especially for the "abandoners" who like picking up other services

Well some of them. It would be nice if that "no texture thing" is groundwork for the rest getting retrofitted with displays soon as well. As well as the LIRR trains for example.

DTG have Southeastern's license. In fact, in RW, I think there's more SE routes than Southern ones!

What they should do is apply the Class 66 updates to GWE, add JNA to the freight services and at the same time apply the scrolling destination screens to the Class 166.

Class 166, BR 442, BR 143... for the last two they wouldn't even need to be scrolling.

Have had a response from DTG on the forums before. TSxx licences arent valid for TSW. New game.

It would be nice, even if it only had the functionality to register the train, change channel and perform a test call.

Most definitely and for me on a personal note it’s special because of the fact it’s the 377 although having never been fortunate to have been in lovely electrostar I’ve had a lot of experience with the class 170 turbostar some years back on central trains and have heard some are being cascaded from cross country to EMR

It definitely looks to be awesome both from the short YouTube clip that 1st announced it and the still artwork shots and history background on the DTG store pages

No idea. If youre on PC, no doubt soneone will make one. On console, depends if/when dtg make a route with a licence that needs one I suppose.

On PC Steam new releases usually become available 5pm/6pm but very rarely earlier.

A second route!! Also, I believe DTG has a flat price of $29.99 regardless of distance.

PC is usually not before 4/5pm.

PS4/Xbox can often be midnight but sometimes DTG release on all three platforms simultaneously around 4/5pm.

Just remember situation with the 31 release was that people were downloading it before the enabling core update had dropped. Meaning complaints of missing services. That shouldnt affect this dlc as its new, but there might be things we dont know about.

It's not a new skin, the 66 has the EWS and DBS livery since GWR released. You can change it before you start a service at will.

Only exception to standard pricing (on PS4 at least) was WSR. Train DLC also consistently priced, regardless of whether you get one or two locos in the pack.
