I'm also noting that there was a problem with another locomotive before. That one is old, so they're unlikely to fix it, but BR294 is still new. I hope so. The problem isn't as serious as I think.

The PIS on the Arrow is not working anymore and after Newark Broad Street station, there are no more on train station announcements heading to Sumit.

 

Meanwhile on PC I cannot get train announcements to stay off after disabling them. They always still play.

 

The texture issues are not just affecting thenee route. On Fife Circle issues have started when there were none before. These occurred when entering the tunnel outside Waverley a d continued for the full route to Levenmouth.

 

Is there any update on the 170 running sounds? They're listed as having been finally fixed but they're still completely non-existent on XSX.

I have had to turn train faults off, and even doing so, I have to open and close doors twice, I am still getting train faults on the 350 even with the faults turned off.

Coming into Stafford from Crewe, there are announcements at Stafford Station I can hear when I am about a mile or so out. The announcements are partial ie, not all the announcement are announced, certain words are cut out.

Nice route but the train faults are to constant. And some happen even when they are turned off.

 

Xbox X, Class 158 When I last tried after the update, the announcements didn’t work. It seems to try to work At Edinburgh. When SPAD-ing and restarting the lady presents all stations to Leven. Then gone. Could it be the missing announcements you mentioned in the update message?

They have planned a patch for this week (very likely tommorow, tuesday) so could be possible it will be send out then

No you were right. I know it states dates and times can change but there was a number 4 core update mentioned for the first week in November.

what ? It was clearly mentioned in the news letter posted on 23rd October on steam and elsewhere that the next core update is scheduled to be released in the first week of november i.e. TSW6 Core update #4 .

Is there any reason why you, or anyone at Dovetail can't answer the question about the still broken 170 sounds on Fife circle despite the release notes for the last patch saying they had been fixed?I

Just a simple "not sure" or "in the next patch maybe" would have done but instead it's just ignored, whether posted in here, the feedback forum or the general forum

To be honest, at this point please just delete my account as it's clear there's no point posting on here anymore. I would delete it myself but it seems there isn't an option to do so, thanks!

If the update is now next week, why expressively state that it'll be this week? If you know you don't usually do week by week updates, don't say you will.

Probably on Thursday, along with the release of the package from HIS.

 

Possibly Thursday, so Friday they can investigate the routine bugs and game breaking issues, go away for the weekend and then get back to us middle of next week that any issues will be looked at and hopefully be resolved with another core update in several months.

 

No, DTG never releases updates and instead releases a DLC on the same day to prevent people from running into issues. This could conflict due to build compatibility.

that's exactly what I thought, so either the core update comes out tomorrow (tomorrow is the deadline) or they'll probably delay it again until next week because the ATSF pack releases on thursday

 

Yeah or this update is also needed to release the new DLC. Maybe they will add extras to Cajon Pass i dont know

They did say on the Roadmap stream that they were looking at a patch release midweek this week so hopefully tomorrow or Thursday. Lets hope it contain some useful core updates.

 

And some addon fixes too - old and new.

That's just horrible that we get informed first that the TSW6 core update #4 would be released in the first week of November ; but now its almost end of the second week.... and we neither get any updates or any information as to why there is a delay in the first place .... while they are busy releasing another dlc without fixing the core game bugs / issues .... perfectly going the Dovetail way nice !

 

The question is whether there is simply a shift towards the newly announced product, by which I mean the "new amazing game", and TSW will go to the second, if not third, track.
.......and I don't believe there will ever be a fix for consoles.....

+1 absolutely shameful behaviour from Dovetail game's production ! I am not buying a single dlc till Birm-crewe fixes are patched properly....

It's not the patience, it's the communication, or lack therefore.

Also, people were sold a broken product, they paid money for it. Why should they then be told to pipe down and have patience when they complain about it?

Would that fly in other walks of life?
