PC Total Immersion

Well as DTG will not give us VR in TSW6 in 2025 i needed some kind of immersion as little vibration from a xbox padd did not do it for me.But know after buying this Woojer vest 4 the game as come to life i feel things i could never feel before if only this game was now in VR like all top games am id be in heaven

 

I'm not wearing space marine armour to play a train game

That's wild and a little too much immersion for my tastes lol!

But, i do have to give DTG some props- they've implemented controller rumble quite nicely imo, with granular setting for various functions (track rumble, throttle, buttons/switches, etc).

Honestly 90% of the reason why i play with a controller even on PC

 

If I had a body shape like that, I'd be modeling something other than trains.

As for myself, if I had a body shape like that, I would be playing with something else than a computer !!!

 

I get the impression that the O.P enjoys Dungeons and Dragons.

It does cover a lot more games not just trains i have this also for my driving sims in a sim rig so i sit on this vibrating cushion so
when im driving you feel all things like rubble strips but only does games that support it which the train sim dont so all games that dont do the telemetry this new vest does through just sound

 

But theres so much more they could give us if they pulled there fingers out to really bring this game to life like if they added telemetry for people like my self and others that own vibrating cushion adding VR to the game being sat in a full size train as thats what it would be like then with the feeling of the train moving under you back side as you move across the tracks and other sounds the vibrating cushion would pick up that would be full immersion but DTG are so set in there ways stuck in the past they will not move with the times or new technology becuase as they all ways say it's not what the the community want every time

 

Lest i move with new technology and not stuck in 80s

Firstly, you can use UEVR to inject VR into TSW. You have to use the keyboard still, but the immersion is great and it works well, even on my 3080 and Q3 in Virtual Desktop.

To your rant, it is possible thay you are the only TSW player with a haptic seat cover!
I know they are excellent for flight sims and racing....

 

They are good for racing & flight sims your right 10 a that why im just saying if DTG did the telemetry i think it would help them plus people who do own them might buy TSW i look for games that i can use the cushion with to feel a train moving under you ok its not going to be like the real thing but it would be better then as it is nothing

 

Yeah that vest could maybe work with subnautica, but not train sim world

 

I’ve been using TSW in VR for a while now. It is amazing and really immersive.

I use a really good controller which works really well in VR.

I have a rubble seat and a butt kicker and wish you could run them with TSW. you can use audio mode, but I don’t, as it isn’t really very accurate.

 

Does it emit the smell of diesel

 

i have tryed to make it work with cushion but its not accurate if they made it do then it would be really good but DTG's they dont like change its a shame they do as this sim could really be better then it is

 

No you have to do that manually lmao

I just use a Yamaha 6.1 amp Bowers & Wilkins speakers and a powered Yamaha 15" sub i feel plenty, the low end of the HST shakes you in all the right places LOL
