    But here's a shiny new DLC with the same issue we'd like you to buy.

    How wide spread is this issue? I didn't see any blurred textures myself on Series S, but it also seems only a few players are reporting this issue on here.

    I get slightly blurry on things like button functions in cab,labels by the passenger doors but still readable.Ive never had the blur whereby the max speed and loco number in cab is that bad its unreadable like ive seen on some peoplrs screenshots.I might add i play in HD not 4k mode,i have tried 4k but i find it makes movements on foot a little jerky but words are clearet.
    Noy noticed the platforms names as being bad,however the timtables on the walls at stations are not readable to me but i dont know if this is intended.
    The overhead timetable board at stations is great to look at,no real issues with burry textures on route though the pop in is mildly annoying.lol
    I play on series x with the game running from the official plug in expansion drive though this shouldnt make any difference really.Just my experinces with TSW6.

    No way shape or form is this aimed at you.. if you want to run HD mode thats your choice :)
    But..
    The game/ all DLC is advertised as running 4k.. Comes default as 4k..
    Players should not have to play in HD mode to get the quality that was advertised to us pre sale...

    Absolutey agree mate.Whilst im still fairly new to thr TSW thing im learning an awful lot from these forums.I cant believe the XSX blurry textures is a lnown issue,acknowledged but still not sorted.

    For some more context....

    This was taken at the end of a service run on Birmingham Cross-City.

    Run had been good and enjoyable for about the first two thirds and then the usual issues started to crop up of resolution flitting between blurry and ok, before deteriorating to just blurry and then to this by the finish.

    Series X and I play on HD mode these days, after thinking that would make some kind of difference, but it hasn't.

    Switching between cams seems to exacerbate the issue, which is not surprising I guess, but also disappointing, as being able to get those great external views is supposed to be part of the experience.

    This does not happen on every route, some are actually really great, then you get those that are ok and then you get those that you know will be a struggle. Those that I have had the most issues with recently, are this route, WCMLS and SEHS.

    *Sad noises* .. not SEHS..
    SEHS is one of my favourite routes!.. ran absolutely fine on ps5 around a month ago..
    How are we going backwards now!

    I have a lot of layers enabled, basically all 40.

    Sorry, I don’t mean to be rude, but what’s the point of this request? I mean, it’s a bit strange, isn’t it?! This whole story with textures is already known, or is this variant so extreme that there really is a need for it? If not, I’d say stop asking for it it’s already painful enough for many users. No offense intended, but I feel it would be more useful to actually do something about it instead of throwing even more bug trackers at it!

    If this is really necessary, will it ever actually be resolved? I’ve always had my doubts about that anyway, but if you’re still in the research stage after 3 years, what will the outcome be? I can probably guess, but this feels like a kind of postponement of execution just to rake in extra money. No offense intended, but I’m honestly a bit done with this charade.

    Context is always important for any bug report. The problem is clear, but that doesn't tell us how the player got there. While there are core improvements that may help the situation, it also requires improvements on a per loco/route basis. This requires someone to reproduce the situation so they can learn more about what the game is doing at this given moment. In order to get there, the investigator requires context.

    The game has so many variables that can impact the outcome, so the following information can be useful for submitting a bug report.
    1. Route Name
    2. Loco Name
    3. Platform
    4. Game Mode
    5. Scenario Name + Start Time
    6. What layers/substitutions are enabled?
    7. Weather settings
    8. Where, and when, did the issue occur? (Reference landmarks, and how long you've been playing this scenario)

    I find it remarkable… How many reports do you need? I believe the whole story is very clear you’re never going to fix this. It’s just stringing people along so you can keep selling.

    Although it is a common issue, it can happen for different reasons. Which is why it is important not to lump all reports in the same pile.

    Okay i hope you can show that I’m wrong! Especially for the console players, as they’re really stuck with a game that simply isn’t playable in this state.
