Recently I posted a thread asking how to make an outside slip switch.
I figured it out now. I thought I'd make a new clean thread as a tutorial so everyone who wants to know can see this.

    1. Start with two ribbons that form the crossing. They can also be curved.
Make a crossing using the normal weld tool.

    2. Place a ribbon forming the outside slip.
This will automatically create two junction nodes.

    3. In node selection mode, select all of the three nodes.
You can select multiple nodes at once by left-clicking on them while holding the control key.
Right click anywhere and select "Group Nodes As Slip" from the context menu.

    You will get this result:

You can even make double slip switches with this:

For some reason the sleepers are very weird but since outside double slips aren't on my route it doesn't really bother me for now.

You can create single slip switches and double slip switches with the weld tool as well. After creating a diamond junction with the weld tool, if you click the junction again it will create a double slip switch. You can then go into ribbon selection mode and delete one of the slips to create a single slip switch.

For some reason, when I press "Group Nodes As Slip" nothing happens. I did select all 3 points but nothing happens :/

The single slip looks OK, but on the double slip the curved rails touch and overlap each other, messing up the procedural generated sleepers?

Have you tried moving the points farther out to prevent this from happening?
