    Introduction
This suggestion adds on to the idea of route hopping that is currently in game to make the feature more useful, the basic idea would be if the service runs over 2 different routes in dtg's catalogue, there will be an option to route hop with your current service to the next nearestst station on the other route
    Example
    Birmingham-crewe to WCML south
If you're driving a London bound train and finish you're service at Birmingham New Street there will be an additional option to continue the service. This will spawn you in onto the WCML south timetable for the same service (more than likely at Milton Keynes) if the train doesn't call at Milton Keynes you could spawn in on the track a few miles beforehand.
    Why?
I feel route hopping is a bit useless if you are doing it from a driver's experience as then you have to search for another service, but if you continue with your service it will feel like a more complete journey making the game feel more realistic.

Thank you for reading, if others believe this is a good idea and will work I'll go into more detail however I'm sceptical if other users would want to see this and if so how it would be implemented.

Neat idea, I ran 1M41 Paignton to Manchester Picadilly over 4 routes (Riviera, BCC 170 timetable, Brum Crewe and MAC) yesterday and the day before and this would make it so much simpler than going to the menu, especially in some cases where players may not realise a service runs across multiple routes.

I can see it being a lot of work to implement for each individual service though, especially as if a section gets added later someone will have to go back and update the "links"

Oh man, you have no idea...
I simply don't play TSW until this come to fruition !
For me it's a fine distraction to do some short services from time to time, but what I like most (and for the time being it's on TSC), is some loooong travelling, typically on friday evenings, late into the night.
    So yes, definitely !!! :D

Nice! Assuming it stopped at Bromsgrove for the BCC route to count there?

Hopefully JT can add this ‘continue service’ feature if or when they amalgamate their routes’ timetables!

The XC services on BCC call at Bromsgrove for playability sake

I knew this was the case for the 170’s, didn’t know it applied to the 220’s too!?

    CrossCountry doesn't serve Bromsgrove irl.

It applies to the 220s as well, yes.
That is true, but they do in game for playability sake

I think the way to do this would be to do a "journey mode" sort of thing where one scenario leads into the next.
It'd be for timetable runs instead of scenarios (or it could be scenarios too) but it's the same thing. When you get done with one, it just pops up "continue."
    So, you're onto something.
    It's in the game already.
Would just have to create those "series" of runs that can use the feature.
I wonder if that's something that they'd market as a "pack" in a bundle to offset the cost of going in and tagging all those services.

The only issue would be where routes don't have matching services.
You'd have to make sure the matching run on the next route is there to connect to.
Different eras, or just timetables not matching for whatever reason.
