played a bit today and looks like they completely changed the multilevel cab car upper screen... you cannot now really go into other selections, BUT it shows line voltage, tractive effort/braking effort and if you zoom in a little bit, you can actually see the mode you got engaged on the loco, D for diesel and E for electric... havent checked how it shows for ALP46, this is how it looks for ALP45
Why after the patch loco starting with the bell of shutting engine in electromode in Hoboken? Without patches, we started in diesel mode, which is correct. After the previous patch, we started in diesel mode, but with the pantograph raised. And now the diesel mode has been completely lost somewhere. Is this some kind of joke? AI 45-DP run in dual modes at the same time. It makes both diesel and electric sounds. Yes, you fixed the coupling, but at what cost... Could you please stop breaking things while you fix them?
The one that keeps confusing me about this loco is how just about all the starts in Hoboken I've had so far begin at electrified platforms, and the whole route up to Newark is on tracks also used by the Arrow III... I think I've only had one service start at platform 18 where being in Diesel mode would make sense. The entire loco really feels underserved by not having the Montclair-Boonton branch
Ps5. The buzzer on the Alp45 is now silent after the patch. Please, bring back the audio for the buzzer!
Ps5. The latest patch also broke announcements on the ALP45. I no longer get the in cab “the next station stop is…” Btw they work fine on the Alp46. DTG Adam are you guys aware the last patch broke the audio for the buzzer and in cab announcements on the Alp45?
Good, Im glad it’s not just me. Noticed it last week, the day of the update. Good ol’ DTG, breaking as they fix.
If you zoom in closely, the coupler that are holding the Multilevel isn’t connected to each other. Very short coupler and is not good tbh
Thank you for bringing this up. We've submitted a Jira ticket for this and pinned the devs for awareness
