PS5 Tsw 6 / Buy Content Again?

I am still on TSW5, but I took a quick look at TSW6 and a load of my owned TSW5 content I have to buy again for TSW6? Errr...it is an expensive enough of a hobby, I'd rather not pay twice.

 

You will be able to download the TSW6 version of every TSW5 add-on that you own for free. I recommend proceeding with the upgrade.

 

Up until recently you could have gotten the upgrade to TSW6 for free (as I did). I then bought the special edition last week after it went on sale and got the new core and a bunch of past DLCs I didn’t have. You should check and see how many of the DLCs in the special edition you don’t have and make a decision from there. The sale price is $40 off the regular price. The other bundles should probably go on sale before Christmas.

 

No, because some of my content is free to dowload and some not so much.

 

I got the free version of TSW6 too, but some of my DLCs wont transfer over unless I pay cold hard cash, I have already paid cold hard cash.

 

Put a ticket in with support, all your tsw5 content should be available in TSW6. If it’s not something has gone weong

Thanks Chris, I haven't bought any of my old content yet. So, I read your post to upgrade the DLC version from TSW5 to TSW6. Next question is how? Some of the content just transfers over ok and some not.

 

Thanks Chris, I realises I have a load of content I didnt install when I got the pro and it was up as free on TSW5, but until I selected to download the routes/locos making them purchased items in TSW5, they then shiwn up as free on TSW6.

 

It seems that's the way it works on PS. I have routes/locos I own from previous versions of TSW but I uninstalled some of them as I didn't play them much or I didn't bother installing them for TSW5.
Only the ones downloaded in TSW5 show up as owned.
This issue also occurs with TSW4 content for TSW5. If not installed in the previous version, it doesn't show up as owned/free in the store.

 

Ah Chris, another problem with the 170s, TSW5 version is free on TSW6, but when I go to download I get this? And it wont let me download because of missing bits?
