It's their product, and we're their customers. When it comes to sales, Xbox customers are definitely not getting a fair deal.
Where the Xbox discounts? I thought getting rid of gamepass discount would help with more sales instead the single 2 things on sale are for newbies and not a single DLC item on sale. Do better you can no longer be shielded from making excuses on this matter, you have a proper publisher and no gamepass discount.
I don't think they should keep hiding behind the same excuse especially when they no longer a sole dev, they have a proper publisher that can push for better deals. And if that isn't the case they should just lower the MSRP after a set time.
^ or they could just have sales more often on Xbox to make up for it. and they should be actual sales. Right now, there are ZERO add ons on sale in the Xbox "sale". Its like here's this thing you just full price for and guess what its on sale now!! Feels more like a middle finger than a sale to me.
You can create a thread to complain, but please stop complaining on every Steam promo thread....This is not the right place
I never said "you" personally; the "you" was general and referred to Xbox players . Almost every steam promo thread there's someone complaining that Xbox players don't get many discounts. That might be true, BUT you (Xbox players again) are doing it in the wrong thread.
Bro is mad that people have a problem that continues to be ignored so thinks people should be quiet about it. We have made our own threads guess what they never answered seriously. Maybe if they actually had a proper community manger they would see the people upset and do something. You guys love to defend dovetail every day and it absolutely amazes me.
Don't make up things I didn't say, I'm not defending anyone Not here, because this is a Steam promotion discussion topic; it's like everyone talking about Preston Crewe from JT in the TFW 142 thread, that's off-topic even if it's the same third party.
Hello. As a 'proper' community manager, we do take on feedback. It's one part of our role. As the process with platforms and partners is strictly under NDA, the best thing to do is assume we aren't out to 'get' console players when a sale is not on your specific platforms. I would advise you to make good decisions when it comes to giving feedback, like making it constructive. Tell us why you feel this way about Steam sales.
As a former XBox player, I totally get it. Where else are you going to voice your frustrations but the repeated PC and Playstation sales threads, it's not like there are frequent XBox ones to complain on, or you wouldn't have just cause to complain in the first place.
Can I ask why the Birmingham Cross City and the related Class 70 DLCs are excluded from the Steam sale?
Not sure i really believe that if I'm being honest. If anyone developer wants to put a 50% sale on their game, to provide an uplift in units sold, do you think Microsoft turn around and say NO? You'll tell me BR doesn't sell next. This and the X Box specific issues, I'm wondering if I drop money on a PC and get rid of the issue all together. Only problem is I have approx £1ks worth of DLC. I don't want to collect it all again.
TSW is part of Xbox Play Anywhere so if you bought it on the xbox store you'll be able to download the PC version from the Microsoft store too
I've seen indie devs who publish on Microsoft's store dismantle that claim by pointing out that this has never been the case with any of their sale schedules, they have a lot more control over them.
Yes, I am saying that. Microsoft claims 30% off the top, since they own the XBox store. Approving a 50% price reduction means halving their take.
That’s because they were on offer less than a month ago to coincide with the release of Birmingham Crewe. BXC was 80% off, which was an excellent deal and probably won’t be as low again!
