Unless I’m mistaken, there was a large update in December 2024 for west coast mainline south, which addressed issues such as scenery and lighting. Following that, from what I remember the GWE remaster was put on hold whilst Liam continued his work on WCMLS. Given that the GWE remaster is still in progress, should we also expect another large update for WCMLS at some point?

I believe with AAS’s new 805 release there will be a new WCML 2025 updated timetable.

Although the timetable is part of the issue with WCML South, performance is more of a problem as I understand it.

Also, slight tangent maybe, one thing I’d really enjoy seeing is a Sunday timetable on the routes that encapsulates what Sunday on the big railway can be like. Take WCML South for example, on Sundays you could simulate a fast line or slow line closure and have everything just on the two tracks. There are two late trains each way that are slow line Milton to Watford but because it’s late and dark you don’t get to really appreciate it.

    Fixes? no no no.

They’re doing the opposite & lining up content for it which will no doubt degrade the quality & performance of the route.

It desperately needs an update for console players, that is for sure.

It would be my fav route, but I avoid it for the most part, because of stuttering and blurring. Gives me a headache after 20 minutes.

That’s not really what I meant. There are still issues with performance and scenery, which need addressing before any new dlc

Doubt they’ll bother fixing it before the DLC comes out… then when it does come out wouldn’t surprise me if it’s even worse than before.

WCML South runs smoothly for me on PS5 (standard, not Pro) as long I don’t have any user created liveries enabled.

Even one user created livery causes a huge slowdown when example of that stock with the livery appears close by on the line (in my case, a Class 350). If the same stock spawns with the standard livery, no slowdown.

Of course, many of us like to have liveries on the Class 350 due to the LNWR livery not being present.
