Nope, British, but I've been on Dutch trains in the past when Interrailing.

I'd like to see more Netherlands as well.

They did ask in the new survey about "what countries (other than UK/US/DE) already in the game would you like to see more of?"

Sadly they only let you choose 1, so i picked Canada, but Netherlands would be second choice for me.

Sadly I think for many, it'll be the same for many. I myself put Japan but would've put Netherlands if we were allowed multiple choices.

It was also kinda strange that they included Japan, Portugal, and Czechia when they aren't technically in the game yet

    Ah well

    I was sarcastic.
DDNG is suppose to get into service 2029/2030.
Which means fase out starts in 2060 ish.

Just meant to say that if DTG starts working on the DDNG now they might have it in TSW successor before 2060 when they will be taken out of service in real life.

I, too, was sarcastic about town-and-country planning (l'aménagement du territoire) in France since the 80's...
To be short, you connect the major metropolises and you forget what is in between...
And you make cash with this train !
Probably the only rail links that will remain in the future (along with commuter trains).
But perhaps it is the way history is going (remember France does not have the same geography as the Netherlands, nor the same population density as Germany).

Aside, as mentionned earlier, DTG was apparently interested in recreating the TGV not because it is french, but because it's a high speed train. That must be appealling to a young international audience.
