Steam Derailment Now On Maintalbahn

Okay this is getting silly now.

Loaded up RE87 (4392) in Journey Mode and as soon as the train screen appeared before I even touched a key the consist rolled through 180 degrees and I got the derailment message.

This is the third or fourth derailment without cause I've encountered since TSW6 came out (including one with BML on PS5) so looks as if something is amiss in the core.

 

I have no problems starting RE87 service 4392 via Journey Mode. Do you have any mods that could affect Maintalbahn and/or the BR 642, even if they were not created specifically for the route or the DMU?

I deliberately restarted the service several times, no problems, no derailment.
I'll report back as soon as I've finished the service.



EDIT: Journey completed, there were no incidents.

 

Not a single mod installed. The derailment bug seems very random.
Since TSW6 I’ve had it on Birmingham to Crewe and Spirit Of Steam when the train was moving plus this instance. Also as noted with BML on the PS5 version, where it used to be a problem in TSW4 but not 5.

Guess I’ll try again later see if it reproduces, but I have a Community Challenge doing a run Kiruna to Narvik on ETS2 to finish first, after rage quitting TSW.

 

It took so about 6 attempts to this on pc as you say just derails. I done it on xbox no problem.

My son tried it on his pc he done after 6 attempts. So I done on xbox without problems.

 

Loaded it up just now and no issues. So these derailments whether in motion or stationary do seem to be occurring very much at random.
