What happened to the Class 104 dlc for the Peak Forest Railway? Not seen it in the road map for a while and I was really looking forward to that add on. Does anyone know what happened to it?
Lost in the wilderness of the Peak District and never to be seen again, apparently Lord Lucan was driving it at the time
Wasnt the 104 supposed to be for the Hope Valley line? Which was taken off the road map a while ago. Im hoping it comes back as part of a Manchester - Sheffield route, with modern stock.
I don’t recall Hope Valley ever being on the roadmap. It was intended to add diesel services to Peak Forest along with a new timetable, but seems to have died a death.
No it was always Peak Valley. It was also supposed to come with a couple of new wagons too. It's a shame because it would've sold well and a Blue version would've also worked very well on Blackpool too. But it is now deceased. It is an ex-Class 104
Really sad if this does not release as 104 are great dmus and the peak Forrest is a fantastic route woukd have gone well together.
As with much DLC, it was announced and put on the Roadmap far too early, when the only proof of concept from the developer was a scree dump from a 3D modelling programme. It's also a shame DTG couldn't have worked with the developer to get it finished, given the pretty basic timetable they lumbered PFR with (no Buxton shuttles for one).
It would be nice if DTG could just level with us with what's happening on this one. Please just put us out of our misery
Started out in the editor, but DTG enrolled the creator as a third party. I think the last update had a fair bit of scenery down in one area, but I don’t recall much since then & that was a couple of years ago. The thread is in the creators forum somewhere.
It was officially said in a roadmap long time ago already that there is no progress and players can consider the project cancelled.
Indeed, and there are various threads where this has been discussed. Do wish people would use the search function before starting new threads!
As SimTrack work with JT on scenarios, pity JT couldn't work with them on this. A Class 104 for their routes would be perfect as well.
