"On Release" - I highly assume this is the same listing issue since TSW6 was released which lists a lot of trains duplicated and shows some variants not supposed to be listed, like those named "[Light Loco]" for Formation Designer. A fix for that would be nice, it's been some time now.

Hint: this wasn't the case in TSW5.

 

So only 423 services on the PS5 version.

Another broken and disappointing release. How many is that now?
The last thing I bought on release day was Mittenwaldbahn ten months ago, and I only got the free version of TSW 6, when before I used to buy almost everything. I've come to the conclusion that it's not worth rewarding this poor management.

 

I got 423 timetabled services and the 5 scenarios to make up the 428 number. Looking through the list of trains on my ps5, compared to the preview stream, I think the db br 423 from Frankfurt S-Bahn is the train missing.

 

Seriously? Don't you have a PS5 at the company to check it out for yourselves? Let me remind you that we are the ones paying, not the ones who have to work for free for you.
Sometimes I really get the impression that you are laughing at your customers.

There is a problem with the S-Bahn services on PS5. They are already aware of it and are working on a fix. I believe it’s a PlayStation issue, since it’s working fine on Xbox as far as I understand from other users.

 

They've admitted they don't have dev kits and can only play the retail builds on console- wouldn't be surprised if they don't actually have a PS5 in the office. It really is a clownshow sometimes lol

Kezz from AABS states that they can only test on consoles after certification, which implies the lack of a devkit. What else could that mean? Why would they wait to test otherwise? Every patch pushed to console costs money so why else would they wait until post-release to test? No other answer makes sense to me.

Also, just recently, in the Medway Valley Line discussion they talk about "keeping to the gen 9 memory pool" but that they aren't actually testing on console (because they can't yet).

If someone from DTG will step up and confirm that they have Xbox and PS devkits i'll happily stfu about it. Please!

 

Can you please repair a bug that the raildriver Setting Not work Right… only the Dynamic brake work. In real life the brakes works together..I can Not use the Standard brake with the raildriver pls fix it DTG

When I was at the ambassador event 2024 they had a few PS5 Dev kits. And Xbox kits as well. (They also look nothing like a PS5) possibly two or three. Can't remember how many. Dont recall seeing any this year though. But, they could have been in use else where.
Its annoying that this thing has appeared on the PS5 as the route looks ok, butnI will not be reviewing it on the PS5 until it gets sorted.

The rule of 6 months mature on whishlist after release, save me a bunch of money, stress and disappointment. Highly recommend.

Very disappointing experience on Gen 9 console, sadly. It's a huge shame because the route and locos are interesting.

ich muss mal in die Runde fragen: Wird der Halberstädter Steuerwagen Bybdzf 482.1 noch umfassend verbessert? Mir sind da als Wagenmeister a.D. etliche gravierende Fehler aufgefallen. Die Steuerwagen haben zumindest Drehgestelle der Bauart Görlitz V Mod Klotzbremse (ev. auch Scheibenbremse) bei Vmax 140 Km/h, unter Umständen auch Drehgestelle der Bauart GP 200 (Scheibenbremse) Vmax 160 Km/h und keine! Minden-Deutz Drehgestelle. Weiterhin sind die falschen Wagenanschriften am Langträger (Fahrzeugnummer, Wagengattung...) angeschrieben! Den Vogel abgeschossen hat DTG bei Wagenübergang: Da wurde doch tatsächlich statt einer Stirnwandschiebetür das Rollgitter der "Silberlinge" verwendet. Was für mich im Umkehrschluss bedeutet: Man hat lediglich den Karlsruher Kopf mit dem Wittenberger Kopf und die Führerstandstische getauscht...

 

Toy collectable at Bietigheim-Bissingen station is uncollectable. I believe that DTG are aware of this fault.

 

Ich bin mir recht sicher, dass die mitgelieferte Version ein Bnrdzf 483.0 und kein Bybdzf 482.1 sein soll. Somit also die n-Wagen-Variante und kein y-Wagen/Halberstädter.

I am quite sure that the version that comes with this route is supposed to be a Bnrdzf 483.0 and not a Bybdzf 482.1. This means it is the n-car variant and not a y-car/Halberstadt car.

Anyhow had a quick watch of the first part of the stream this morning. The section of the route I saw looks well put together as we have come to expect from the German content. However as suspected, the “experience” does not look vastly different from all the other German routes. 140 looks nice but is limited by being on freight and I couldn’t really evaluate the sounds as Matt insists on driving with the windows and doors shut and the panel were constantly talking over the section I watched.

S-Bahn services are much of a sameness wherever in Germany the route is set. Time to look at doing some U-Bahn stuff, perhaps?

So my verdict remains, if this had come in at £25 or even been offered with a pre release purchase 10% discount I might have been swayed but quite comfortable waiting for a 50% off sale.

My opinion about the route is a bit ambivalent. I don´t own this route (yet) but I watched far enough streams and videos to allow myself an opinion. It looks like a route with a good building standard overall, better than Leipzig-Dresden for example, I really looked forward to this route, finally something a bit older again, finally a 140 (one of my favourites), Wittenberg Cab Car, Stuttgart before the Stuttgart21 disaster, not bad at all but it´s just not good enough for me, to justify a price of 35.99€. Too many things, that got left out, like Schwabstraße, multiple liveries for the n-Wagen and the 140. Additionally, the route just doesn´t feel like the early 2000s at all, more like a late 2000s early 2010s route, that we already have plenty of. It looks like the Devs didn´t really knew, what time they want to recreate, the announcement of the BR147 (an early 2010s loco) as a DLC for this route just supports this feeling. It could have been a really good route, a different route, with a unique Vibe to it but in it´s current state, it´s just another semi-modern DB route, with nothing really exciting about it except from the new trains maybe.

I have to ask around: Will the Halberstädter control waggon Bybdzf 482.1 still be comprehensively improved? As a waggon master a.D. I have noticed quite a few serious mistakes. The control waggons have at least bogies of the type Görlitz V Mod block brake (possibly also disc brake) at Vmax 140 km/h, under certain circumstances also bogies of the type GP 200 (disc brake) Vmax 160 Km/h and none! Minden-Deutz bogies. Furthermore, the wrong car addresses are written on the long carrier (vehicle number, waggon type...)! DTG shot down the bird at the waggon crossing: Instead of a front wall sliding door, the rolling grid of the "Silberlinge" was actually used. Which for me in reverse means: They only exchanged the Karlsruher Kopf with the Wittenberger Kopf and the driver's cab tables.

 

Wrong wagon type. He is talking about a way different type. The 483.0 based on n-Wagen, not on By (Halberstädter), is correct.

 

Well perhaps member pinomanky, should post in English then we can answer his post correctly!
