    hello, good night everyone

I was playing the Kassel-Würzburg route, with the 155, I did not know that it had an LZB that could be activated by passing through the beacons, but the fact is that it is activated, but it does not work correctly since the LZB cannot be armed by means of a switch Is it possible to update to be able to arm the system correctly?

It would give more realism to the driving

The LZB has to be 'armed' in locomotive but is active only in LZB sectors (activated remotly / 'through the beacons').

The BR155 doesn't have LZB in game (the switches are not clickable) and as it's a legacy dlc I doubt they will update it to include LZB functionality.

Don't hold your breath. Adam and his crew have been "implementing" LZB on older rolling stock in a continuously buggy and completely broken way. The only stock with actually working LZB are the ones TSG worked on.

I just tried it out and I would call that a bug in PZB rather than partial implementation of LZB. :D
Hopefully they will do a reworked 155 to include in a later route with LZB.

The BR155 DLC was developed before DTG introduced LZB,so do not expect it to work. As far as I know the BR155 is never really updated so LZB should not be working at all.

Didin't know that. Again an example of poor testing.

I am not even sure this kind of implementation was on purpose or just coincidence. It is hard to explain and I lost the plot already, about what is the state of this preserved actions, locomotives versions etc :)

How did you get it to work? I tried to do the Kassel route with the BR155 and it still doesn't work for me.

    Hey from 2025!:)
I have been playing with DB BR 155 for some time, and I need to say that LZB does work, but indeed I can't understand whether it is able to control the train or not. First and foremost, PZB, LZB and Sifa are all toggleable in the engine corridor.
LZB It shows the target speed properly and notifies when there is need to break and when LZB comes to an end. When I accelerate approaching the target speed, it doesn't slow me down. I though that perhaps I need to select proper braking force (similar need as for BR 143), but whenever I change any setting with the lever, the traction gets lost. Changing the settings for Traction Force doesn't help either.

The loco is nicely modeled as for its times of development, I believe. If we take a look onto DB BR 187... [...] ...

My understanding was the self-driving bit of LZB is down to AFB?

That's entirely correct. LZB only "drives" the train in conjunction with AFB, which the 155 doesn't have. So treat it like a cab signaling system: it tells you what to do, but you have to do it yourself.
