Downloaded the manual. Cannot get key to move. Manual was no help. Not happy!!! Current opinion - TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!
kilt46 You've got to stop running it on a console! I only say that as I know you're quite a big TSW user. Seriously, it must be very frustrating. I hope you get a fix soon. There seems to be a developing problem with premature releases by 3rd parties on both TSW and TSC. This doesn't look good for either game.
I haven’t seen any other reports of the kind kilt46 brings forth. Perhaps it’s user error, or can be fixed by a re-install? Untill then, use the quick start-up procedure “ctrl x” (if i recall correctly)
Kim is right.Press ctrl+x for quickstart. And before press ctrl+shift+A if you don't want to use Scmt. Also pls note that on Just Trains YouTube site there are some Videos which may help you. For me the route is fantastic.

"Due to a technical issue with the installer for this product we have taken it off sale whilst the issue gets remedied. This could take a while but we do hope to have the product back available for sale later today. Those who have bought it already, we do apologise, you'll just need to redownload later today when we have the issues fixed. Thanks for your understanding." "Again, apologies for the technical issue upon release but we can confirm everything is now fixed and the route is back on sale and available to buy from the Just Trains website. Anyone who had already purchased prior to the hitch just needs to redownload the file and all should be good for you now too. Thanks for your patience."
I have reinstalled several times. I have even tried the Ctrl+X and it did not work for me. I did swap the asset out for the 2019 version and it worked. What was most disturbing was that I could not grab anything with my mouse. I could move the throttle however without any power then no dice. I am sure this works great on the original installation. Something has gone very wrong when this asset is added to my pc. I have never had any issues like this with any other TSC asset ( and as you can see from my web site I have quite a few). This new install should have cleaned up any JT common file issues. I could see the whole route (and it is a huge sprawling one). If anyone else who has got this working. Did you start it up with a frosted windscreen?
By the way I have reverted back to only doing TSC as I prefer the longer routes with more variety rather than the ‘Groundhog Day’ TSW timetables.
Did you download another version as Just Trains suggested or are you using the possibly faulty First version?
Confirm not in package - JT told me to get them from product page which I have done. If not within installer probably needs an advice to buyers. Regards
Apparently there is a 3rd party external plugin needed. Fix will be coming shortly - just in time for Christmas
AC66 I'm a bit confused by the map in the Guide as it shows Torino Porta Nuova as a thru route but its a terminal from this map and in real life.
I know it is a Terminal - I have Been there. the MAP in the Route guide show TO - Porta Nuova as a thru Station between Lingotto and the Junction at Quadrivo Zappata Or maybe I'm reading the Route Guide Wrong?
I have the route loaded on my pc. I will map it out on Google Maps and add to my site sometime this weekend. I had not done so as I was having issues with the bundled asset. There is a hot fix coming later today. As soon as I get this running I will be adding details to my site as usual. Respectfully
The RSSLO E412 is a pretty good addition for this and other Italian Routes. I have just stumbled over another Italian Route for my collection which runs all the way from Brennero down to Verona! Linking with RSSLO routes and another freeware Italian route I can now get from Munich to Venice!
The Brennero - Verona route is WIP from what I saw - lots of things missing and the speeds jump about.
Yes but accepting a few speed issues it is driveable and pretty good scenery having ridden some of it on a bike
Like others cannot get it moving. Turned SCMT off Brakes show all released - Unit in Manual Mode MM and still no throttle. Read manual several times. How are others doing? Thinking of switching in the old Minuetto model instead. Later repeated everything again and now moving - last attempt moved a bit but after gentle braking would not pick up power again - very odd
Hello, just to inform that a new release have been published to correct a bug that was not allowing the initialization of the Minuetto (and consequently a non usability of the addon) when the optional SCMT plugin was not installed. I do not why this happened because I was testing wks ago without issues. With the new release this problems is corrected (this is also confirmed by some users that had this problem). I'm sorry for that.
Hello Kilt46. Sorry not having answered you before, but I just realized that I was on the first page .... The problem you have was rised yesterday morning to me. I just sent before this post another one where I explained what happened. I did correct it and JT has quickly sent a new release. Pls install it and let me know if, as I expect, the problem is solved. In the new release there are also some manual updated, especially for the point SCMT plugin that was creating some misunderstood (that I can image).
You're right. The map can be misunderstood. I'll change it the next update. Torino Porta Nuova is a final station and has to be slightly moved to the right. Correct point!

No, 3rd party plugin for SCMT is anyway optional as described in the manual (and in the last update sent this evening a little bit better). The issue was hitting those who have not the plugin installed (this is the reason why Kim had no issues, because I feel he has it installed). Understanding why I was testing this particular case weeks ago with ok results, and testing yesterday not anymore, it will be more difficult..... It could be that with the last TSC updated something is changed, or it could be that I did something wrong in the middle....
OK I did re download last night but now see the version number has updated to will download again. Please dont think I am trying to knock the route which is awesome. I am managing now to drive in manual mode with SCMT turned of even though I have the add on but this has a massive manual in Italian. As my Italian is very basic too much for me. I will finish the scenario I am doing and re install. The signal manual is a work in itself! Given the size of the route scenario possibilities seem endless given the large amount of Italian rolling stock I have. Thanks again= will try new version in next day or two and report back
I don't think anything Chris... I'm trying to understand because we tested the route for 1 year with the great help of 5 different and expert italian simmers. But as you've seen something was "escaped" by all of us (and was not a minor issue at all). So, if something goes wrong, I prefer to deep check because maybe there is something to be corrected, or maybe not... I'll follow the thread and in case I'll get back to you. Confirm Installer v 1.0.1 does install manuals correctly. Will see if Minuetto is any different but feel we are missing an example step by step example to set up SCMT . Regards Can confirm that if I disable SCMT at start I can drive OK in Manual Mode. Without a step by step example in English SCMT is way beyond me I am afraid which is a shame as that is the essence of driving this unit in real life.

Believe me, is easier one understood and I'll try to make a movie as soon as I can. I do not know if you've the SCMT plugin installed. If yes, as I suppose, use the default one using CTRL+SHIFT+A as a first action entering to a scenario. This default RSC is less "impacting" the driver (in the new manual I inserted a high level explaination of the differrences). To handle this defualt SCMT, even the first video was resuming the 2-3 more frequent cases.

The map is a reflection of what is in the build. Clearly there are no actual stations in the Milan area (yet ). A lot of work in this labor of love. Reminds me of some of the Danish routes although they have no included scenarios and are all Free Roam. Another route which puts TSW to shame
