    As per the thread title.
For context I have an invisible CL08 loco in game for placing loose consists but, although you can't see it, you can still hear it. Is it possible to remove the sounds from this loco?
    Thanks.

The real question is "Why wouldn't you?".

Picture below is a Scenario for WSR where you can see the Player Pacer passing loose consists of wagons in 3 different places at Dunster on its way to Minehead. Without this "trick" all three sidings shown would be empty. (Or would, unrealistically, have to have visible locomotives placed in them).

Arr okay so they call that static stock, you can only add static stock when making the timetable on pc editor or in free roam where you place all the stock first and then drive service your wanting to drive. Not sure how the last one will work.

Not true on PC. There are 2 ways in which you can get 'statics' into TSW using Scenario Planner. One is to create two differently named versions of a consist (one with a loco and one without) and simply swap them at the last minute in Scenario Creation. The other simpler method is to attach an invisible loco to the formation (thus giving the impression of a static consist).

By the way the reason I don't use the word "static" is because my loose consists can move. Very useful if you want to stack up two or three of them in the same siding.

I'll try again. The single Seacow in the screenshot below has been placed in a Scenario using the normal Scenario Planner. It can be placed by Scenario Planner because it is attached to a loco. An invisible one :)
Even better it can also have Community liveries applied to it and can, depending on the formation picked, be either loaded or unloaded.

So without you using pc editor to make a custom invisible loco there isnt any way to remove sounds from a loco.

Also i was talking from a pure pc editor pov not scenario planner as well

I managed to make a static wagon rake for a preserved railway using an 8F tender. The game views it as a loco, but of course it makes no sounds. If you could make the tender invisible...

Here are 2x 8F tenders back to back (or is it front to front?). You can add stock to either end. No sound. Just need to be invisible. Obs cannot drive them!

I hope this is of some use :D
