I just came back to TSW from TSC, and spawned on WCMLS some personnaly-made consists, a Class 66 hauled railtour with a 47 for ETS, and a Midlands HST.

I was just wondering if only the front engine was providing traction, which it seemed.

In the case of the HST, or when working in MU (AAR system), that's somewhat problematic...

There is some level of realism simulation in TSW, only locomotives that are connected through MU link and using same protocol are compatible. If you intercept the cable with wagon that is not able to transmit the data further or if you use locomotives requiring different protocols in reality, it will not work in TSW either.
Banking with a physical driver in the rear is simulated in selected locos, usually by enabling it with a button on radio.

First, thank you for your reply. :)

    That's a good thing.
I've just recently moved from TSC mainly for that reason.
That thing with the gradients (in TSC), that was for me the cherry on the cake (you gain speed uphill, and you loose downhill...)

I don't regret my choice, that run with the 66 was awesome.
In TSC, you put first notch and it goes off like a rocket. You gain speed in no time, and the 73/9 + 8 Mk5 Coaches behind, it feels like they weigh nothing.... :(

Anyway, in TSW, that 47 behind wasn't applying any traction and that was fine, as it was there for ETS only.
(Btw, don't know if irl the 73/9 participate in the traction, some say they do, others not...)

The problem was with the Midlands HST, I'm pretty sure the rear engine wasn't doing anything... so I did struggle to get to 110mph on the WCMLS.
But I spawned it during a timetable mode session.
Iirc, it works fine on the MML.
    So I suppose it's a bug ?
